Voor Anne Galama komt bij SWF Ignition werk en hobby bij elkaar. Begonnen met jeugdliefde BSA, maar later volgde Moto Morini en Moto Guzzi

Geen massaproductie, maar elektronische onstekingen die met gevoel, aandacht en per stuk worden gemaakt.

A customer requested a digital ignition for his 192cc Moto Guzzi Galletto. As I have a comparable unit for a MG Nuovo Falcone in the webshop this shouldn't be to difficult.
To develop a digital ignition from scratch it's handy to have the bike at hand but not this time.
Mechanical fitting was done in a related workshop who had a 192-engine lying around and operational testing was done with my NF 500. Reasoning if I can kickstart a 500-single then it will for sure work with a 192-single. Made some adaptor stuff and here we are, a working Galletto Ignition system.

today a SWF-digiplex-replacement ready for shipment. all units are bench-tested before dispatch. here I'm checking the correct function of the reluctor-signal to the processor

Cutting the optical slot in a Nuovo Falcone interrupt-disk. 60 drg crankshaft window. New cutting disk works beautifully

yesterday we trail fitted a SWF-Galletto ignition unit to a 192 Moto Guzzi Galletto engine. the one with the dyna-start. Central bolt will be replaced by a countersunk bolt to have some more clearance to the plastic cover. Otherwise I'm satisfid how this one turned out. Software is identical to the Falcone unit, also a single cylinder MG.
this Galletto ignition will be added to the webshop in a couple of days.

final PCB's for the MM350/500 are in and tested. last post was a preliminary setup to try components and software. And all works as designed. The difference is hard to spot but the yellow wire is new. Kill-switch-function is now available without modifications to the original wiring loom. just plug&play

Tested today the new kill-switch-function. Using the standard wiring harnass for the Moto Morini Ignition the kill-switch works again.

experimental setup using a modified PCB. Now have to design a new PCB with the new function added.

adapted a SWF-Vxx Ignition system for using "fast" coils; BAE850K. 5 minute job with a new settings-file.
the bike is highly customized V50
