Nedcam produces 3D design objects using 5-axis CNC-machines. Zij maakt hierbij gebruik van een hoogwaardig machinepark met vijf-assige CNC-machines.

Main industries are yacht building, architecture, wind energy, automotive, infrastructure and art & design. Nedcam realiseert modellen, protoypes en complete producten op basis van digitale 2- en 3D-ontwerpen met grote nauwkeurigheid en afmetingen tot 30 meter lengte. 🚀 Opening of the Skillslab 3DXL Composite Manufacturing! 🌍

A few weeks ago we marked an important milestone together with NHL Stenden and Lectoraat Smart Sustainable Manufacturing in strengthening the innovative technology sector in the Netherlands with the opening of the Skillslab 3DXL Composite Manufacturing.

The purpose of the collaboration is to accelerate innovation and develop knowledge and skills in the field of 3DXL technology, focusing on thermoplastic composites.

The lab is part of the Skillsforlife consortium, where partners work together to tackle the challenges of sustainability, demographic decline, and technological changes.

Together we continue to seek cooperation in unlocking the relevant technology for research education purposes and work together to set a new standard in the composites sector! 💡🤝

Nedcam strengthens its board and management to focus on strategic growth.

To support the next phase of Nedcam’s growth and strengthen its position as a circular one-stop-shop producer of composite tooling in (Western) Europe, Nedcam is expanding its board and management as of December 1, 2024.

With the appointment of Wytse Heerschop as Chief Executive Officer, Nedcam is laying the foundation for the future. Wytse has broad financial and strategic expertise. Erwin Van Maaren will, with the arrival of Wytse Heerschop, focus on the sales strategy and further development of R&D, allowing us to better serve our customers and partners. Jan Volker will assume the role of “advisor to the board,” applying his experience to strategic issues and long-term projects.

In addition, the management team has been strengthened with Toon Bokhorst (Manager of Business Office), Matthias Picker (Managing Director Rhede), and Gerwin Kalenkamp (Operations Manager Heerenveen) to support the company’s continued growth and ensure the high quality of our products.

With these additions, Nedcam is laying a strong foundation for the future and reaffirms its ambition to become the largest circular one-stop-shop producer of composite tooling in (Western) Europe. These reinforcements prepare us for a new phase of innovation and sustainable growth, focused on delivering optimal quality and benefits to our customers.

Over een paar weken staat de Metstrade 2024 weer voor de deur, de grootste beurs voor toelevering voor Jachtbouw industrie. Wij zijn trots om ook dit jaar onze innovatieve oplossingen en producten te presenteren. Dit jaar presenteren wij u de GRP mallen en 3D-geprinte mallen. Afgelopen dinsdag waren we aanwezig bij de uitreiking van de Pro-Motor Award 2024. Ons 3DL-XL-project, ontwikkeld binnen het Skills for Life-consortium, was genomineerd voor deze award. We focussen op grootschalig 3D-printen met gerecycleerde thermoplasten, wat een circulaire aanpak van productontwikkeling in de toekomst mogelijk maakt. Dankzij onze samenwerking met NHL Stenden hebben we de industriële haalbaarheid van 3DXL-printen aangetoond en zetten we een nieuwe standaard in de composietsector. We willen graag de winnaar, TechForFuture met het project CHARISMA, feliciteren met het behalen van de Pro-Motor Award 2024.

Last Tuesday, we attended the presentation of the Pro-Motor Award 2024. Our 3DL-XL project, developed within the Skills for Life consortium, was nominated for this award. We focus on large-scale 3D printing with recycled thermoplastics, enabling a circular approach to product development in the future. Thanks to our collaboration with NHL Stenden, we have demonstrated the industrial feasibility of 3DXL printing and are setting a new standard in the composites sector. We would like to congratulate the winner TechForFuture with the project CHARISMA on winning the Pro-Motor Award 2024.

NL - Van woensdag 28 augustus tot met zondag 1 september vindt de Hiswa te Water plaats, de grootste in-water bootshow van Noord-Europa. We zijn erg trots dat er veel jachten liggen die tot stand zijn gekomen met door Nedcam geproduceerde pluggen en/of mallen. Zoals Antaris, Stratos, Davinci, Vanquis, Wajer, Bavaria, X-yachts en Reborn. Tot ziens op de Hiswa!

EN - From Wednesday 28 August to Sunday 1 September, Hiswa te Water will take place, the largest in-water boat show in Northern Europe. We are very proud that there will be many yachts on display that were created with plugs and/or moulds produced by Nedcam. Such as Antaris, Stratos, Davinci, Vanquis, Wajer, Bavaria, X-yachts and Reborn. See you at the Hiswa!

NL - We feliciteren het TU Delft Hydro Motion Team met het schrijven van geschiedenis door als eerste boot op waterstof de Noordzee over te steken! Vanuit Breskens in Nederland voeren ze 169 kilometer met slechts 12,3 kilogram waterstof naar Ramsgate Royal Harbour in Engeland. Trots om partner van het team te zijn en de direct mallen van de romp te hebben geleverd. Een compliment voor innovatieve en duurzame maritieme technologie.

EN - We congratulate the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team on making history by becoming the first ever fully hydrogen-powered boat to cross the North Sea! Starting in Breskens in the Netherlands they sailed 169 kilometres with only 12,3 kilograms of hydrogen to Ramsgate Royal Harbour, England. Proud to be a partner of the team and supplying the direct moulds of the hull. A compliment to innovative and sustainable marine technology.

NL - Nedcam is trots om onze betrokkenheid bij de nieuwste ontwikkeling van X-Yachts aan te kondigen: de XR 41 race zeilboot. Deze baanbrekende boot markeert de terugkeer van X-Yachts naar de racewereld met een super geoptimaliseerd ORC-model.

Als specialist in de productie van mallen en pluggen voor o.a. de jachtbouw, was Nedcam verantwoordelijk voor de productie van de pluggen van de hull, transom en hull liner van de XR 41. Onze samenwerking met X-Yachts heeft geleid tot een innovatieve en toekomstbestendige raceboot, welke officieel zal worden gelanceerd op Boot Düsseldorf in januari 2025.

EN - Nedcam is proud to announce our involvement in X-Yachts' latest development: the XR 41 racing sailboat. This groundbreaking boat marks X-Yachts' return to the racing world with a super-optimised ORC model.

As a specialist in the production of moulds and plugs for yacht building, among others, Nedcam was responsible for the production of the plugs of the hull, transom and hull liner of the XR 41. Our collaboration with X-Yachts has resulted in an innovative and future-proof racing boat, which will be officially launched at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2025.
