June 8, 2021: Clients ‘74 back for periodic maintenance after completed full restoration in April 2020. It was a running but very very shabby car back in in 2016. Client’s having fun with it!

May 20, ‘21: First MOT (or in better Dutch: APK) on Dutch 1976 owned by our client Jan. It’s -work in pretty good progress- full restoration in original pastelwhite L90D is heavenly beautiful... By the way, APK went A-ok ((-: so we’re driving it for real now. A brand new updatet to 21st century level.

May 4, 2021: 2x at Eriks paint shop, both belonging to our German clients. Remember the French 1976 one with front damage from ? It’s the right side one from Jens. The left side 1977 we sold in the summer of ‘20 to Klaus & Constanze, family of Jens. It was very first post on Instagram, just after the metal work. The Colorado T2b Westfalia is in the process of full restoration and will proceed in progress after Jens’s bus is painted next week. Both buses’ paint will look alike, only Jens’s bus white on the inside, and Klaus and Constanzes bus will be chrome yellow on the inside...

Mai 3, ‘21: A very special VW1300, a very special moment. After 18 yrs in storage I decided to further restore my first Aircooled VW. My very first beetle, matching numbers. And after this one, many, many VW’s of all types would follow. Trying, learning, succeeding, enjoying. So picking it up 18 yrs after body restoration is quite a thing. Texas Yellow L10b it will be, as like this it rolled out of the factory in August ‘72, VIN 1132188939, AH gearbox, engine code AH030330, as one number out of these more than a million that would be built in this ‘73 model year. Just one, and now in 2021 this one beetle has saved many, many other members of its family. An untaught decision, je ne regrette..
