Gran Turismo Alleggerita. Lightened. Back in 1965, Alfa Romeo took the already brilliant Giulia Sprint GT and put it on a strict diet. They replaced steel body panels with aluminium, swapped heavy glass for plexiglas, and replaced excess with absolutely nothing.
Two hundred kilos vanished. Races were won by the hundred. 🏆
