In the weekend of 20-22 March 2026 explorer scouts of groups close to Maastricht in the Netherlands gathered for a 4x4 weekend. The weekend consisted of a 4x4 rallye, a long 4x4 run during daytime on Saturday, another orientation run on Saturday evening and a visit to former NATO HQ in the Cannerberg (a limestone hill) close to Maastricht.
Up tp 2023 oe so, the Minerva's and Champ were regular rented out at Heritage 4x4, but today they mainly serve as museum pieces that we regular drive around for pleasure, so they are in semi-retirement. We do get requests from customers for the Champ every now and them, but the Minerva is a bit unknown to the general public.
The Minerva used in the weekend is a 1st Belgian Army model of 14 April 1952. We have this (former) private vehicle since 2011 and it is named after its previous owner Kurt, who bought it 2010 or so, the vehicle was found forgotten under a tree in a meadow.

En we deden onze eerste begeleide Series Land Rover rit op zaterdag 14 maart 2026.
And we did our first Land Rover Series ride with instructor this year on Saturday 14 March 2026.

Vandaag hebben we officieel onze Land Rover 110 uit 1986 in gebruik genomen. Vanaf model 1990jaar werde de auto Defender genoemd.
De auto deed dienst bij de British Army of the Rhine (BAOR) en is een rechtsgestuurde infanterie ondersteuningswagen.
Today we officially commissioned our Land Rover 110 of 1986. Starting model year 1990 this was type was called Defender due to the introduction of the Land Rover Discovery.
The car served with the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR) and is a right hand drive infrantry support vehicle.

The Heritage 4x4 Tour combines some laps at our terrain with a roadbook in the region around the Castle. Please note that the places are limited to only 30 classic 4x4 vehicles per day. Een eerste keer was het begeleiden van een groep moderne Land Rover eigenaren die een tocht door het Heuvelland in Zuid Limburg wilden maken. 24-1-2026. Prijzen op aanvraag.

Dag en nachtdropping. Er bestaan 2 variaties van onze dropping, eentje bij licht en eentje bij donker. We deden beiden in december 2025. De nachtelijke was op surpriseavond (5-12-2025).
Day and night dropping. We have 2 variants of our dropping, one by light and one by dark. We did both in December 2025. The night one was at st. Nicholas evening (5-12-2025).
