Bought it.

Did oil change.

Did Roadtrip.

Together with one of my best and dearest friends drove 3000km without any problem. Loved the aircon in the italian heat. Loved the busso torque in the Alps even more!

Ofcourse went to Alfa Romeo Museum. Really really cool. We thought we would be disappointed but absolutely not! It was amazing! 😍

Many people took pictures, made movies, drove around us waving, horning, and even an Armoured Carabinieri truck that crossed us put all lights and sirenes and horns on as a salute 😂

It was a fenomenal trip. Cannot wait for the next road trip with the 🥰

Well this was a short discussion. The Berlina Busso needs to be used more and be seen more.


So I bought it back.

Finally I'm 105 owner again. And owner of my coolest build so far. 😁

SOUND ON!!

Nice and cool Golf Cabrio in for fine tuning the double Dellortos!

Throttle only opened 70% and Synchronisation was very off.

Less and less people know how to adjust carbs and are scared if it doesn't have an OBD port and its just pure mechanical!

I'm happy with both but good old carbs always make my day!! 🥳😁

And another very good driving Defender back on the road!

The todo list was long and kept growing with things coming up. Last one laugh's and thats one happy owner now!

Rebuild front axle, new winch, simplified engine bay. New alternator, custom air intake 3inch stainless, removable rear seats, LOF extreme spec clutch, new seals and gaskets here and there, wiring done etc etc.

Next step: big brakes and last suspension bushes to match the td5inside powerrrrr!!!

I am amazed how this defender goes. Big tyres, 1.2 transfercase, rollcage, roofrack... Its certainly not the lightest defender but its running very well!

As most welding has been done the fun work already started!!

Custom front suspension, bmw e46 steering rack rods and joints, custom engine mounts for the Lexus v8 engine, tarox brakes, bc coilover kit, adjustable panhard rod, everything poly bushed and seam welded and cleaned front end/engine bay!

This won't be a sloppy Volvo when it's done! 😁

The Alfa Romeo Berlina 3000 stays HQ Veenendaal during winter.

Such a nice place for having meetings and with the Berlina even nicer ofcourse haha 😍 .

Beautiful Alfa Romeo Junior in for engine overhaul. Someone else didn't do a good job servicing this engine so all bearings, crank and rods were game over.

As it's an 1750 first series engine parts are difficult to find and the crank was very damaged . I put a 1800 nord crank in with 6 bolt flywheel. Good lightened rods, new and balanced pistons liners bearings etc.

Runs like a dream and pulls strong. One happy owner!
