Nowadays parking is a huge problem, with search traffic making approximately 30% of all city traffic. For cities worldwide, this causes loads of wasted time and many useless car-kilometers. As such, parking also contributes extensively to urban pollution. PARKEAGLE is here to solve this parking problem and to make cities more accessible and liveable. Our aim is to help cities better utilize their
parking capacity and to support drivers by making parking fast, fun and easy. We have created a solution to detect and share usage of individual parking spaces. This solution is driven by our network of smart wireless sensors which are installed in each parking space. The sensors detect parked cars and share this information directly with you and with each other. For drivers, we have created the PARKEAGLE app for smartphones or in-car navigation systems. This shows them all available parking spaces on a map, and guides them to the nearest space, with the least effort. For cities, we provide detailed, real-time parking occupancy data. Our data enables them to optimize parking capacity, to increase parking revenues, and to support parking enforcement.
