🚌 New Rome ZTL Fees for Tourist Buses – Updated for the 2025 Jubilee
Planning to visit Rome for Jubilee 2025? Be aware: ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) entry fees for tourist buses have been officially updated and will apply from December 24, 2024 to January 6, 2026.
These changes aim to reduce traffic and pollution in the historic center, making early planning essential for tour operators and group travelers.
📍 Updated ZTL Fees – New pricing now depends on bus size and entry zone (A, B, B1–B5, etc.). Buying permits online can save up to €60 compared to paying at checkpoints.
📍 Extended ZTL Hours – The restricted zone is enforced daily from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. Don’t risk fines—plan your schedule accordingly.
📍 New Parking Areas – Additional parking zones are now located on the city’s outskirts, meaning passengers will need to walk into ZTL areas after drop-off.
📍 New Permit Portal & Rules – Permits must be purchased via a new online system. Italian companies need SPID access, while foreign operators must request accreditation before using the platform. SEPA payments are no longer accepted — use PagoPA instead.
