Jeep Wagoneer S: 600bhp electric SUV's interior revealed.
Jeep has revealed the interior of its upcoming Wagoneer S - a 600bhp premium SUV that will lead the American brand’s electric future.
Built predominantly for US buyers, the five-metre-long Wagoneer S, which could be considered an electrified rival to the Range Rover Sport, will arrive in 2025.

This combines with an electric in the gearbox and one on the rear axle to provide 355bhp and four-wheel drive, with the electric element powered by a 12.4kWh battery pack. 0-62mph stands at 5.2 seconds. Using a 7.4kW charger, the battery can be topped up in one hour and 40 minutes.

Two 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engines will be offered, with a choice of 201bhp and 261bhp, both with 4MOTION four-wheel drive. Diesel options are covered by 120bhp and 148bhp front-wheel drive 2.0 TDI engines, while the more powerful 190bhp model comes with 4MOTION four-wheel drive as standard, allowing for a maximum towing weight of up to 2,200kg.

Dodge (finally) has its own compact crossover in the new Hornet. Built on the Alfa Romeo Tonale platform, the Dodge Hornet has a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a plug-in hybrid option that produces up to 285 horsepower and a 0-60 sprint of 6.1 seconds.

BMW debuted the XM concept last year with wild styling and a plug-in–hybrid powertrain capable of up to 750 horsepower. Now, that concept will become a reality. The launch version will have 644 hp and 650 lb-ft, while the 750-hp version is expected later in 2023. No word on pricing.

Land Rover
The P300e plug-in hybrid powertrain has also been tweaked with a new 14.9kWh battery pack that extends the all-electric range to up to 37.9 miles, a four-mile improvement compared to the previous variant. This gives the P300e a WLTP rated MPG figure of 176.3mpg and just 36g/km for CO2 on paper, with the usual plug-in hybrid caveat that this will be difficult to match in real-world conditions unless a majority of your journeys are short and reliant mostly on drive from the battery.
