One final roar in Zandvoort! What a weekend. Racing at full throttle, great conversations, shared excitement and memories that will stay with us. And in the middle of the Sea of Orange, we were proud to add a flash of Kroon-Oil Yellow with all of you 💛🧡.

Als Software Developer in Almelo bouw je mee aan de bedrijfsapplicaties die onze organisatie wereldwijd ondersteunen. Je werkt in PHP/Symfony, ontwikkelt zowel frontend als backend en vertaalt gebruikerswensen naar duurzame technische oplossingen. HBO werk- en denkniveau en ervaring met PHP en OOP zijn een pré, motivatie om door te groeien is minstens zo belangrijk.

Als Export Medewerker Binnendienst ben jij de schakel tussen onze internationale klanten, area managers en de interne organisatie. Je begeleidt orders van A tot Z en stelt export- en douanedocumenten op. Ook hier vragen we HBO werk- en denkniveau, bijvoorbeeld in International Business, Logistics Management of Bedrijfskunde.

⚙️ The wrong gearbox oil can do more harm than good.

Today, Jorn explains why choosing the right gearbox oil is especially important for vintage vehicles. Many classic gearboxes contain components made from yellow metals such as brass and bronze, which can be sensitive to certain extreme-pressure (EP) additive systems used in modern gear oils.

A few things to keep in mind 👇

🔧 Newer isn’t always better
A modern API GL-5 gear oil isn’t automatically suitable for an older gearbox.

🟡 Know what’s inside
Vintage transmissions often contain brass or bronze components that require the right lubricant chemistry.

📖 Use the correct specification
Always use the viscosity and specification prescribed for your gearbox.

🏁 When in doubt, ask an expert
Especially with rare classics, finding the correct lubricant can sometimes require a little extra detective work.

Rene Lammers delivered an impressive debut at Monza with a third and a second place finish in Eurocup 3. Racing at the iconic Italian circuit for the first time, René combined strong race pace with a calm, calculated approach to move up to third in the championship and close the gap in the rookie standings to just 11 points.
