Story Time!
Shattered Cakes 😥😪!!!
You see these cakes here? They were shattered!!! 😔 😭
They were ordered by my Alumna and classmate Dr Emily for her church and pastor.
It's been a hectic one because I had another beautiful one for another pastor who clocked 40. I had been on my toes back-to-back because deliveries were a day after another.
Everyone in my house has one assignment to handle in my baking industry. It was my son's turn to do his duty of taking good pictures of the cakes. So I called for him to come take the pictures, lo and behold it was crashed!
Who did it?!!! LAWRENCE!!!
How?!!! What happened?!!!
Meanwhile, my classmate sat by quietly to take delivery of the cakes. She didn't react, or add to my frustration - unmoved!. Her demeanour read "when you're done, gimme the cakes!".
My adrenaline rushed! How do I salvage the situation?
The cakes were to go to church alongside the client and here is wahala! Okay, I decided since they were 2 cakes, she should take one while I fix the other to bring to her in church later.
Omo! I went to the cake room to pick up the second one and I only found the the board it sat on 😕. Whatttt?!!!! Where's the cake?!!!
And Lawrence again came out that he'd carried it to the parlour but while he was carrying it, the board detached so he dropped the cake in the parlour. Wahala pro-max!!!
See beatings na! I beat the guy and was looking for strength to finish him.
I turned and looked my client seated, still unmoved, and I started crying - how do I refund the money? I wailed out of frustration like a baby.
Brethren and people of FB, I wailedddd till I woke up!
Thank God it was just a dream!
Omo! I prayed o because who knows what the plan of the enemy was or is?
That's how I rushed to the cake and found them where they were beautifully kept😚😊. I called my son to come do his duty and these are the pictures he took.
