Exterior Design & Styling

The Model S keeps its distinctive sleek, low-slung silhouette. Its hatchback liftback layout and clean lines make it visually modern. Subtle tweaks for 2025 include updated wheels, improved aerodynamics, and minor styling touches, but the core design remains similar to recent years.
Tesla’s emphasis is less on flash and more on aerodynamic efficiency. The absence of a traditional grille, flush door handles, and smooth under-body all help reduce drag. Lighting is fully LED, providing a sharp, futuristic look front and back. The car also retains a panoramic glass roof which adds to the feeling of space and openness inside.

Performance & Powertrain

Mercedes offers different powertrain options for the EQS, depending on trim and market, but all are fully electric. The most common configuration delivers impressive performance balanced with quiet refinement.

In its EQS 450+ version, expect a rear-motor setup that produces adequate horsepower to comfortably accelerate in daily driving. For more demanding performance, the EQS 580 4MATIC (or similar dual-motor variants) adds all-wheel drive and significantly increases power and torque, making 0–60 mph times much more spirited.

The battery pack is large—around 118 kWh usable capacity in many versions—and Mercedes estimates an EPA-rated range of approximately 390 miles in favorable driving conditions. This is one of its standout features, enabling long-distance comfort and reducing range anxiety for most users.
