Herpes simplex virus (HSV) is a common, contagious infection causing, painful, fluid-filled blisters or sores on the mouth (HSV-1) or ge****ls (HSV-2). Types of Herpes Virus

Daily Suppressive Therapy: Daily medication can significantly reduce the risk of transmitting the virus to partners.
Self-Care: Keeping the affected area clean and dry, taking warm baths, and using over-the-counter pain relievers.
