We just completed full sound upgrade on this W203 C-Class (ELEGANCE)!

What we did:
✅ Installed 9" Android Radio (4+64GB Octa-core, Wireless CarPlay, DSP)
✅ Changed 4 door speakers to Pioneer / JBL mid-bass (original W203 speakers don die)
✅ Proper CANBUS connection - steering control working
✅ Reverse camera activated on screen
✅ No cutting of wire - 100% plug and play

Before, the owner dey manage FM only and crack-crack sound. Now? Bluetooth, YouTube, Google Map, crystal clear sound! 🎵

For W203, if you never change your speakers, even if you put Android radio, sound no go sweet. Original W203 speakers are 20 years old - e don weak!

CASE STUDY: MERCEDES-BENZ W211 E-CLASS - REVERSE LIGHT ALWAYS ON

Customer bring W211 with complaint say reverse light dey ON permanently once ignition ON. Even when gear dey for P. Gear display for cluster sometimes disappear.

Our Findings @ 68 IBB Way:

We trace am go front passenger footwell where EGS and CAN modules dey. The module in question na:

A2115458532 - CAN DISTRIBUTOR / REAR SAM NODE (TEMIC)

This module na bridge wey carry CAN signal from front go back to rear lights.

Important Test We Do:
When we unplug socket I3 (CAN Bus wire - yellow/green), reverse light goes OFF immediately.

Meaning? This module GOOD! E no be the fault. E just dey obey fake command wey e dey hear for CAN.

Root Cause: ESM (Electronic Selector Module for gear lever) for center console dey send fake "R" signal for CAN due to water/corrosion - common W211 problem when AC drain leak enter selector.

Rear SAM just dey obey.

No be to dey change Rear SAM or bulb. Na CAN network diagnosis.

For correct German car diagnosis, no guesswork!

MERCEDES-BENZ W203 BLACK SMOKE DIAGNOSIS
DTC: P20BF-004, P20C2-004, P20C3-004

WHAT IS THE CODE?
G3/3 (Left O2 Sensor, Before TWC [KAT]): Open Circuit In Sensor Heater line (P0155)
G3/6 (Right O2 Sensor, After TWC [KAT]): Open Circuit In Sensor Heater line (P0141)
G3/5 (Left O2 Sensor, After TWC [KAT]): Open Circuit In Sensor Heater line (P0161)
Status: Current and stored

LOCATION IN W203:
G3/3 = LEFT BANK, BEFORE catalytic converter (on exhaust manifold) - This is the MAIN fuel control sensor
G3/6 = RIGHT BANK, AFTER catalytic converter (after CAT)
G3/5 = LEFT BANK, AFTER catalytic converter (after CAT)

FUNCTION:
O2 sensor measures oxygen in exhaust. The HEATER inside helps it get hot quickly (300°C) to start working after you start car.
- BEFORE CAT sensor tells ECU how much fuel to inject (rich/lean)
- AFTER CAT sensors check if catalytic converter is working well

WHY BLACK SMOKE?
1. Heater open = sensor cold = no correct signal
2. ECU cannot enter CLOSED-LOOP control
3. ECU enters FAIL-SAFE and injects TOO MUCH FUEL (rich mixture)
4. Too much fuel, not enough air = incomplete burning = BLACK SMOKE, high fuel consumption, black soot for exhaust

SOLUTION / WHAT TO CHECK:
1. Check O2 sensor fuse in Front SAM / Engine fuse box - If all 3 failed at same time, na fuse be the cause!
2. Check wiring and connector under car - W203 wiring dey cut
