Battery size Din100L VS LN5 AGM looks the same but it's not the same😅

Most people love to install Din100L to newer gen conti vehicles, it may works but its not supposed to !

Din100L = no coding/programming needed
AGM = need coding/programming(BMS system)

*Charging Voltage Mismatch*
The Issue: AGM batteries and standard flooded (DIN100L) batteries require different charging profiles. The alternator and Power Management System (BMS) are programmed to charge AGM batteries at a slightly higher, tightly regulated voltage.

The Consequence: If you put a standard flooded DIN100L battery into a system configured for an AGM, the vehicle will routinely overcharge it. This causes the electrolyte fluid inside the flooded battery to boil off rapidly, leading to catastrophic battery failure, warping of internal plates, and potentially releasing corrosive acid gases inside the cabin.

*Electrical Demands & Start-Stop Systems*
The Issue: The vehicle is heavily computerized, power-hungry, and often equipped with an energy-intensive Auto Start-Stop system.

The Consequence: Standard flooded DIN100L batteries cannot handle the deep-cycling demands, high electrical loads, and rapid high-amp discharge cycles required by modern car electronics. It will result in premature battery failure, electrical gremlins, and low-voltage dashboard error codes.

Issues: not able to start/no acceleration

As per diagnosed by other technician, concluded that engine ECM malfunction(replacement needed)

Owner contacted and I decided to give it a try because Toyota ECM failure rate is low(as per my knowledge)

And yeah Thanks God, after a few days of diagnose here and there....

Car is HEALTHY again 💪
