Starting this April 29, 2020, the public transportation agency (Apad), the road transport department (JPJ) and the trade board of trade vehicle (Lpkp) Sabah & Sarawak will open the service of kaunternya.
This gradually opening is among others to support the reopening of the country's economic sector instead as an early preparation to all agencies to ensure the smoothness in the service delivery system when the pkp period ends later. In addition, it aims to reduce the throw of business when all counter services are operating again after the pkp period.
I would like to explain some things in connection with the opening of this counter.
1. Applications received at the Apad Counter:
β license license application.
β RE-application.
β vehicle licensed application according to approval offer letter (STK).
β approval of approval documents.
β Driver's card.
2. Jpj counter opening is only for commercial / trade vehicles (goods, public services (excluding taxi and e-travel) and travel) only for business:
I. Renewal of motor vehicle license (Lkm) Trading Vehicle only except private vehicles, taxi and e-travel.
II. Renewal of Malaysian driving license and vocational license (GDL AND PSV) for trading vehicle drivers only except private vehicles, taxi and e-travel.
III. Black list solutions and Sue payments in connection with matters like I. And II.
3. However, to avoid the gathering of too many customers at the jpj counter and obey the orders of all customers social and health lock, services for taxi and e-Travel Categories Involving Renewal of lkm and PSV license are not included in the business service at the jpj counter at the moment . The exception of the lkm renewal and PSV license that was given previously included to taxi drivers and e-travel in the pkp period is still effective and used for both of these categories. All taxi and e-travel drivers who have ended the psv and lkm license during the pkp period can still operate / provide services on the condition of ensuring their motor vehicle has valid insurance coverage throughout the pkp period.
4. No business involving individual needs or involving private motor vehicles at this stage at jpj counter.
5. Only Lpkp Sabah and sarawak open the counter for business regarding taxi and e-travel services. This is because the number of taxi and e-travel services in Sabah & Sarawak is not the same as the more peninsula. It is also to avoid congestion congestion at the peninsula in the peninsula for taxi and e-Travel Affairs.
6. People are advised to always obey the prevention guidelines of the covid-19 outbreak as the ministry of health (Kkm) has set like practicing social lock and always keeping safety and self-hygiene.
