Another precision job on the Toyota G16E-GTS โ€” replacing the valve springs with performance-spec components, using the proper spring compression fixture and pneumatic valve-locking tool.

The right tools make a big difference here. With the cylinder head remaining installed, controlled spring compression and reliable pneumatic valve retention allow the springs and retainers to be replaced efficiently while keeping the valves securely seated.

This is especially important when upgrading the valve train for higher RPM and increased boost. Performance beehive springs are designed to provide greater control of the valve train at high engine speed.
