Harga bateri EV jatuh lebih cepat daripada jangkaan, dengan 2024 mencatat penurunan paling besar sejak 2017.

Laporan BloombergNEF menunjukkan harga purata pek bateri turun 20 peratus kepada USD115/kWh, manakala bateri untuk BEV kini buat pertama kali berada di bawah paras USD100/kWh.

Penurunan harga ini didorong oleh peningkatan kapasiti pengeluaran, bahan mentah lebih murah dan penguasaan bateri LFP.

A new study shows that Tesla vehicles retain 96.3% of their real-world driving range after three years, placing the brand among the top performers in long-term battery health. The data, pulled from thousands of used EVs, reveals that several automakers, including Cadillac, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, and Rivian, maintained 100% of their original usable range. At the same time, Ford and Nissan also posted strong results. Tesla sits comfortably in the upper tier, outperforming Chevrolet, Volkswagen, BMW, and Jaguar. The findings reinforce that modern EV batteries degrade far more slowly than many buyers fear, strengthening the case for both new and used electric cars as reliable long-term options.
