Decades ago, we need to lift the cylinder head out to replace the valve seals. There was a special tool to clamp the entire 12 valves down on a M20 or M30 but it was so expensive & very specific...

Today, we have a simple special tool that is quite universal for the engines & a lot cheaper too, bringing the cost of valve seal replacement job so much lower.
Using the special tool also makes the job a lot faster than removing the cylinder head⚡️⚡️

If your BMW engine is smoking & consuming engine oil, come over. We will assess & find out if a valve seal replacement job will be the solution🔧🪛

Just another video to show there are many fake parts out there.
These fake parts are NOT imitation parts, but we call them fake parts because they are manufactured without the complete functions like this engine mounting.

This engine mounting is a hydraulic type because it has oil in it & connected to the engine vacuum system to operate.

A proper engine mount like this suppose to expand & contract based on the connected vacuum system.

The aftermarket engine mount doesn't expand or contract because the vacuum connecting pipe is just a 'show' only on the outside & it doesn't connect to the inside.

Just like our earlier video showing how an aftermarket EDC absorber doesn't even have the solenoid at the absorber, this is a another fake product that doesn't function as it suppose to.

Get your parts checked properly if & when you are supplied. They might look like the Original BMW but might not function like the Original.

Not almost, but every BMW F10 will have this water leaking into the cabin.

If you find water on the rear left car mat, highly likely the car's firewall cap is leaking.

Reasonably a cheap fix.

Get it quickly checked & resolved before water causes any short circuit.

You are scrolling the online sites like Shoppee & Taobao.
Then you come across EDC absorbers for BMW with a great product description, & it's not even quarter of the Original prices. You proceed to purchase it. After installation, you test drive the car, switching from comfort to sports. No faults, no errors, everything goes smooth until you push it a bit more harder into some corners.Then you realise it doesn't really feel like how it should.....

Yes, these are the aftermarket EDC absorbers made for BMW by 2 different manufacturers.

One has the actual solenoid.
Where else the other one doesn’t, except it has a signal emulator to deceive the system & also the car owner.

The next time you find a super great deal, do a little more work to see if it's a real deal.

Another BMW, F15 X5 35i, mileage tampered!!
The new owner paid a premium price, more than RM20k than the market, thinking he is buying a low mileage BMW...unfortunately he did not know Bluegreen Motor Werks until he bought the car

After test driving the car, Mike suspected the car doesn't feel like a 78k kms mileage & we plugged in our diagnostics. Well what do you see...the car has clocked nearly 250000kms in actual mileage. Even the last battery registration was done at 236390kms. This car service history on the idrive has been rewritten & the workshop that did the PPI told the purchaser that the 78k mileage is correct based on the idrive service history

Now this mileage tampered F15 owner has a car with transmission error causing drivetrain & a bad suspension to start his long painful headache 🔧🪛

Hence, we always, highly recommend to bring the car for a thorough & proper Pre-Purchase Inspection with Bluegreen Motor Werks. Recently in the last 2 months, we rejected 3 units of F15s because the cars mileage were tampered & 1 unit because condition was bad. The same customer bought the 5th unit F15, because finally we gave a green light to the car during the PPI⚡️⚡️

In recent years, we found out that some used BMW dealers do not want to send for PPI when they found out the PPI location is Bluegreen Motor Werks 😁😁
Our advice, just walk away if the car dealer refuse for PPI at your choice of workshop. There are still many other cars for sale out there.
This mileage tampering is so rampant that we normally on average find at least 7 out of 10 BMWs are tampered.

Looks like another tribunal court case is pending & we might have to attend it on behalf of the current owner 😐😐

BMW F10 VDC to Non-VDC...yup, instead of spending about RM16k on absorbers only for a car priced below RM50k, most of our customers accept our suggestion to use the Non-VDC Original BMW absorbers.

The ride quality is still the same as in the Comfort mode.
During the installation, we will encode out the VDC function in the Sports mode.
After that, the car will still have Sports mode for the engine & transmission.

Some like this option as they hardly use the Sports mode.
Some insist on having the VDC, so there are some refurbishment VDC absorbers out there.
Just follow your appetite.
