If your car is caught in a flood, here is what you should do:
1. Do not turn on your engine.
2. Call 1-800-88-8398 for towing assistance to the nearest Proton Authorized Service Centre and B&P outlets.
3. Confirm whether your insurance comes with Special Perils* (flood) coverage.
4. Customers can enjoy up to RM1,000 flood relief allowance if their vehicle is insured with the Proton Insurance Program.

*The Flood Relief Campaign is applicable for vehicles that do not have Special Perils coverage. Other T&C applies.

PROTON SUPPORTS KELUARGA MALAYSIA AUTOMOTIVE DISCOUNT VOUCHER
With so many Malaysians affected by the recent floods, any form of assistance rendered could prove invaluable. PROTON is heeding the call to step forward and would like to announce we are fully supportive of the government’s automotive discount voucher initiative. Worth up to RM1,000 the vouchers will be accepted by PROTON as payment for repairs to flood damaged vehicles. This will be on top of the 50% discount on selected parts, discounted labour and free towing and exterior cleaning services that were announced earlier.
“The damage caused by the floods last year was unprecedented and thousands of Proton owners have been badly affected. To date, our service centres have received 1,023 flood damaged vehicles and we are expecting more in the coming weeks. Considering this, the discount voucher initiative is highly appreciated as it will assist our owners to get back on the road as quickly as possible. Also, in the event a car is declared as a total loss, PROTON will also accept the voucher as part of a down payment for a new car, subject to terms and conditions” said Roslan Abdullah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, PROTON.
