A TOUGH PILL TO SWALLOW

Not the most desired start for Mitchell Cheah after lining up on pole at Tokachi.

Mitchell dropped to P3 off the start but quickly got himself into the fight for P2. While battling for the position, things didn’t go his way and he eventually dropped down to P8.

But the fight wasn’t over.

Mitchell pushed his way back through the field, climbing from P8 to finish P4. The pace was definitely there, and he proved it by setting the FASTEST LAP of the race.

For Jordan Johan of Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia, it was a solid and straightforward race. Starting from P7, Jordan held his ground, defended his position and brought the car home in P7.

Mitchell Cheah — P4 + Fastest Lap
Jordan Johan — P7

Definitely not the result we were hoping for after starting from pole, and a tough one to swallow. But we leave Tokachi knowing the speed was there.

Thank you everyone for the continued support.

A GOOD DAY AT TOKACHI 🇯🇵

P1 for Mitchell Cheah in qualifying for the GR86/BRZ Cup Japan at Tokachi Speedway!

Jordan Johan of Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia also put in a strong qualifying session, taking P7 in the Clubman Class.

And there was more to celebrate in our pits today — our advisor, Sasaki-san, secured P3 in the Pro Class qualifying.

P1. P7. P3.

A very good day across both classes. Now we look forward to race day.

Thank you everyone for the continued support!

Mitchell Cheah

How well does a racing driver really know the track?
We put Mitchell Cheah to a simple test at Tokachi Speedway.

Eyes closed. Stopwatch running.
Mitchell visualised an entire lap in his head — every braking point, every corner, every acceleration zone — and told us to stop the clock the moment he crossed the finish line.

One lap. No car. Just memory.
How close do you think he got to his actual lap time?

GR86 BRZ CUP JAPAN | ROUND 4 | TOKACHI SPEEDWAY

We're back for Round 4 of the GR86/BRZ Cup Japan at Tokachi Speedway.

Practice sessions got off to a positive start, with both Mitchell Cheah and Jordan Johan (Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia) showing strong pace ahead of qualifying.

Mitchell heads into Tokachi with confidence after taking victory in the Clubman class at the last round in Okayama. He now sits just 14 points behind the championship leader, making this a crucial weekend in the title fight.

Jordan also arrives with good momentum after an impressive recovery drive in Okayama. The A/B qualifying format saw him start from P24, but he fought his way through the field to finish P17.

With encouraging pace shown in practice, the team's focus now shifts to qualifying and the races ahead.

Thank you for all your support. We'll be giving it our all this weekend.

一歩ずつ

Respect is earned, not requested.

Every team in this paddock has built its place through years of commitment, sacrifice, and countless laps around circuits across Japan.

This weekend, Autopolis reminded us exactly why this championship commands so much respect.

We leave with P5, valuable championship points, and an even greater hunger to return stronger.

一歩ずつ (Ippo Zutsu).

One step at a time. Not a measure of speed, but of purpose. A reminder that every lap, every race, and every point earned is another step towards something greater.

The journey isn't about catching the giants.

It's about becoming one.

AMONG GIANTS

Coming into Round 5 at Autopolis with the momentum of our P2 finish at Sportsland Sugo, we're ready for another challenge.

Super Taikyu is home to some of the most experienced teams and drivers in Japan. Every circuit we arrive at is another opportunity to measure ourselves against the very best.

As a first-year team, every lap is more than just another lap. It's another step in understanding the circuit, refining the car, and earning our place among the giants of this championship.

P5 in qualifying isn't where we ultimately want to be, but we're not here to dwell on today's result. We're here to keep moving forward.

Five hours. One opportunity.

We know the pace is there. Now it's about putting every lap, every pit stop, and every decision together when it matters most. It won't be easy, but nothing worth fighting for ever is.

Let's do this.

Race starts tomorrow:

Super Touring Race 2 final lap at Bangsaen was one we'll never forget.

Our Super Touring Car #36 was involved in a major accident that saw the car roll over after contact with another competitor. It was a frightening moment for everyone watching.

But above all else, we're incredibly thankful that Nabil Azlan walked away safely without a scratch.

At Wing Hin, we've always believed that while race results come and go, there is nothing more important than the safety of our drivers. Podiums can be won again. Championships can be fought for again. But every driver must always have the opportunity to walk away and race another day.

That philosophy is built into every race car we prepare.

Many people don't realise that we don't just race these cars—we design, build, maintain, and repair them ourselves. Every weld, every component, every safety check, and every rebuild is carried out by our own team at our own facility. When we put a car on the grid, we know exactly how it has been built because our hands were part of every step of the process.

The accident at Bangsaen was an extreme test of both the car and the work that goes into it. While the chassis suffered significant damage, the safety cell did exactly what it was designed to do—protect the driver. For us, that's the most important result of the entire weekend.

Today, the rebuilding has already begun.

We'll repair it ourselves, just as we built it ourselves. We'll inspect every detail, replace what needs replacing, and make sure Car #36 returns to the track ready to race again.

Because building a fast race car is one thing.

Building a race car that gives your driver the best possible protection when everything goes wrong—that's the huge responsibility.

We'll see Car #36 back where it belongs.
