FUJI IN THE WET — WE GAVE IT EVERYTHING 🇯🇵🇲🇾

What a race at Fuji Speedway.

After a wet and challenging weekend, Mitchell Cheah brings home the WIN at Fuji, together with the FASTEST LAP of the race — a 2:18.184 on the final lap — earning more valuable points for the championship.

Starting P4 on the combined grid, it was never going to be easy. Mitchell kept his head down, found his rhythm in the wet and fought all the way to the chequered flag.

Mitchell:
“Really happy with this result. It was a difficult weekend with the weather constantly changing, so to come away with the win and fastest lap means a lot. Every point is important for us now.

A huge thank you to everyone in the team who worked so hard throughout the weekend to give us a car that we could fight with, and also to Moty’s Japan for their continued support.

Jordan Johan also put together a strong race in difficult conditions, fighting his way from P11 on the combined grid to finish P6. A solid drive and another good result for the team.

This weekend was also another important step for RRBO Oil, as we continued testing the oil under real sprint race conditions at Fuji. The wet and demanding race gave us another valuable opportunity to gather data and understand its performance on track.

A win. Fastest lap. Two cars home with strong results.

But the fight is far from over.

DAY 2 — QUALIFYING AT FUJI SPEEDWAY 🇯🇵

Qualifying is complete for Round 5 of the GR86/BRZ Cup Japan.

Mitchell Cheah finished P2 in class and will start tomorrow’s race from P4 on the combined grid.

With track and tyre conditions changing throughout the session, Mitchell found more pace on his second flying lap as the tyres came into the right window. There was still more potential in the car, but P2 in class puts him in a good position for tomorrow’s race.

Jordan Johan also had a strong start to qualifying, initially going to the top of the timing sheets. As the circuit continued to dry, the later runners found more pace, leaving Jordan P6 in his group and P11 on the combined grid.

Behind the scenes, our mechanics, Moty’s Japan and the entire team are working hard to put the best possible cars on the grid tomorrow. Every small detail counts in a field this competitive.

This weekend, we are also running RRBO Oil as we continue testing its performance under sprint race conditions, gathering valuable data under the demands of racing at Fuji.

69 cars. One very competitive grid.

Tomorrow is not going to be easy, but we will give it everything we have.

厳しい富士へ。
A wet start to Round 5 at Fuji Speedway. 🇯🇵🌧️

Rain greeted us today at Fuji, and this weekend is already shaping up to be a tough one. A massive 69 cars are on the grid this round — compared to just 20 at Tokachi last time out. It’s definitely not going to be a walk in the park.

For Mitchell Cheah, currently 14 points behind the championship leader, there’s plenty of work to do. With such a huge field and after looking back at the last race in Tokachi, he knows he’ll have to work double time this weekend.

The positive — the pace was good in practice today and things are looking promising.

The target is clear: score as many points as possible. Pole position, fastest lap and the race win all carry valuable points, and Mitchell knows every single one counts from here.

Jordan Johan is also back in action at Fuji after a solid P7 finish in Tokachi. With 69 cars fighting for space and unpredictable wet conditions, it’s going to be a completely different challenge this weekend.

Practice done. Next up, Qualifying.

The championship fight continues. 🇯🇵🏁
From Tokachi to Fuji.

A quick look back at Round 4 in Tokachi — a weekend that started strong with Mitchell Cheah taking pole position. After a difficult start dropped him down the order, he fought his way back to P4 and set the fastest lap of the race. Jordan Johan put together a solid weekend as well, qualifying P7 and bringing it home in P7.

Now, the focus shifts to Fuji.

Round 5 of the GR86/BRZ Cup Japan takes place this weekend at Fuji Speedway. Another big fight ahead. Let’s go! 🇲🇾🇯🇵

RACE 2 COMPLETE.
P4 - Hard fought. Hard Earned.

A strong finish to our Thailand Super Series weekend at Sepang.

Car #39 brought it home P4 in Pro-Am and P5 Overall, with Mitchell starting the race before handing the car over to Ryan to take it to the chequered flag.

For Car #139, it was a tough and unlucky end to what had been a very strong debut weekend. Contact between the cars ahead left debris on track, causing a puncture that ultimately forced them to retire.

Still, plenty of positives to take away. This was TGR Indonesia’s first time competing in Thailand Super Series, going up against an incredibly competitive field and they showed that they belong here.

For Ryan, Sepang was a weekend of learning. It’s a highly technical circuit where tyre degradation and tyre management play a huge part. Getting familiar with the track, understanding how to manage the tyres over a race distance and adapting to the team’s car setup were all part of the challenge.

But he fought, learned and improved throughout the weekend.

An awesome weekend for us at Wing Hin Motorsports.

Most importantly, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported us throughout the entire weekend.

And to our crew, working from early mornings until the wee hours, preparing, repairing and making sure these cars were ready every time they rolled out of the garage. This weekend would not have been possible without you.

Sepang is done and dusted.

Next stop: Buriram, Thailand — 30 October to 1 November.

And this time, Super Touring is coming back.
