Bruce McLaren said that “life is measured in achievements, not years alone.”

His childhood was spent at a Service Station in New Zealand, where his father Les taught him the value of good work and looking after people. That foundation never left him.

This series of six films tells the story of how Bruce’s maverick spirit shaped everything that followed, and everything McLaren continues to build today.

Team Papaya score another storming 1st and 2nd podium finish

From a confident start, Oscar looked formidable throughout the 66 laps of the Spanish Grand Prix. Lando showed grit and flair to quickly fight back to P2 after some challenging opening laps, and by the end of an incident filled race, Team Papaya were beyond reach. The flag dropped on our seventh victory of the season, and third double podium. Barcelona was also a landmark race for Oscar, as he became only the third McLaren driver to bag eight consecutive podiums.
