EV registrations up 148.5% YoY. e.MAS 5 #1 EV model

Malaysia recorded 6,937 EV registrations in July 2026, up 148.5% YoY and accounting for 8.67% of TIV. Proton e.MAS 5 remains Malaysia’s #1 EV model. It is also the ninth most popular vehicle in Malaysia with over 13,000 units registered in 2026.
