🚨 VOLVO XC90 SINKING? AIR SUSPENSION WARNING ON?

This XC90 came in with the classic signs β€” car sagging + air suspension warning.

Our inspection found several ageing components working against each other:

πŸ”§ Air struts developing cracks & leaks
βš™οΈ Valve block internal solenoids wearing out
πŸ’¨ Compressor running continuously trying to compensate β€” until it can overheat and fail

So instead of fixing only one symptom, we carried out a complete air suspension overhaul β€” replacing the affected air struts, valve block, compressor and relay, followed by full diagnostics and ride-height calibration for all 4 corners. βœ…

This 987 Cayman S came in with a cooling-system issue, and on these cars there are a few areas worth paying close attention to.

At the front, leaves, dirt and road debris can build up around the radiators, trapping moisture and eventually causing the aluminium radiators to corrode and leak. πŸ‚

At the rear, the water pump’s plastic impeller can deteriorate or become loose. If pieces break off, they may circulate through the cooling system and create poor coolant flow, hot spots and even overheating. ⚠️

For this Cayman, we replaced the affected radiators and water pump, checked the cooling system and performed a proper vacuum coolant refill due to the long coolant lines running through the car. πŸ”§βœ…

⚠️ PORSCHE 718 CAYMAN GT4 – PADM FAULT πŸ”§

This Cayman GT4 came to VSM with a PADM warning.

The PADM system uses active engine mounts, and in this case the problem was traced to the pressure sensor inside the mounting.

Instead of replacing the complete engine mounting, we can now replace the faulty sensor separately β€” a much more cost-effective repair. πŸ’°
