💧 **PORSCHE TAYCAN – COOLANT LEAK, BUT WHERE IS IT COMING FROM?** 🔍

Another Porsche Taycan dropped by VSM HQ with a **coolant leakage issue**.

For the Taycan, some coolant pipes are hidden behind the side skirting area. When a leak happens here, it may not be immediately visible from the outside — proper inspection is needed to locate the actual source.

In this video, we show you **where the coolant pipe is located, why we need to remove the side skirting for inspection, and what to look out for when diagnosing a Taycan coolant leak.**

Sometimes the problem you see is only the symptom. Finding the **actual source of the leak** is the most important part before starting any repair. 🔧

Another Porsche Taycan arrived at our HQ on a tow truck under an extended warranty claim after being stuck at another workshop that couldn’t identify the root cause.

After our diagnosis, we found the issue was a failed On-Board Charger (OBC). Since this is a Japan-spec Taycan, we recommended performing a charging port conversion at the same time, allowing the owner to enjoy a more convenient and compatible charging experience in Malaysia.

Another busy day at Volkspeed Motorsport HQ! 🔧⚡

Boss Yeo is sharing today’s workshop update, where we have two Porsche Taycan battery packs undergoing cell module replacement.

🚗 Taycan #1: More than 10 battery cell modules have failed and require replacement.
🚗 Taycan #2: Only 1 battery cell module has failed, allowing us to repair the battery without replacing the entire pack.

Meanwhile, our technician is carefully cleaning the battery tray cover to ensure everything is reassembled to factory standards. Every step matters when working on a high-voltage battery system.

At Volkspeed Motorsport, we don’t just replace parts—we diagnose, repair, and restore your vehicle using the right procedures and professional equipment.
