Not only is it somewhat fast (to me) but its an absolute blast to ride around.

Drag Bike times, with Daily driver looks.

Only give away is the slick, I have been telling people I just need a new tire🤪🤪

If only it was 100lbs lighter 👀

Hey E-Grom Followers.

I have a collection of parts that were on the E-grom previously.

My new setup went in a different direction and all of these components are great but just not needed.

Motors:
Qs268 20KW 1670R No tire. Around 200 Miles on it, its used but in perfect working order. 12x3.5 230mm drop out. 1000+frieght

QS268 25KW 1270R No tire. around 500 miles on it, used but in perfect working order. 12x3.5 230mm drop out. 1000+frieght

Controllers:
2 (962600) Both running latest firmware. 1600 Line 2600 Phase. 26S max. One is liquid cooled the other is not.

LC Version 1600.00+shipping
Air cooled 1100.00 +shipping. Sold*

1 3 Shul Cl1400 700-800 battery amps depending on input voltage and 1400 phase limit, can run around 1250-1300 phase. 30S max 1200.00 + shipping.

Local pick up near daytona florida is a option.

Nothing is needed to be sold, so not looking for any low ball offers.

Just making room for the next project :)

Adding water cooling as well which is a pain, but here we are.

The Fardriver I have been using vs my new Race version.

Most would not believe me, but I paid for this in full in October. It took many months for FD to create.

I look forward to testing it, and pushing it to its limits.

I need to design a cooling system now, so will be down for a few days.

Fun Fact. There is 2900 line amps available between the two controllers seen here roughly 280KW. Not phase amps actual wattage 😬

Putting it back together.

The original QS axle nuts were very sloppy from the start (as always) so they are just hand snug while I wait for new axle nuts rated to 600ft lb of tq, although the keyed axle wont allow that much. I wont have to worry about the thread deformation as much.

Hall sensors back in order, motor cleaned up, slick mounted.

Guessing I will have it running again tomorrow, hopefully test pass within the next few days to see how much the slick helps.

My guess on the motor noise was on the money.

Upon opening motor, it was dirty inside. One side the hall sensors wiring was tight enough I could use them as a guitar to play a sad country song on them. And the other? Came unglued contacted cover and pulled the 12v signal for hall out. ( this controller uses 12v hall) could of blown my 2000.00 controller 😡

Is it fixable? Of course. Its not even very expensive. Its the principle. Going to sleeve each hall wire, secure properly. Replace all 3 hall sensors on the bad side. Will use electrical cleaner to get all the left over s**t they left all in motor.

Glad I opened it, as the other hall would of failed soon with that much tension.

Siaecosys whats going on over there? QS268 quality issues.

To be clear this hall sensor failed right away, and swapped to backup pair (strectehed wire hanging on) pulled apart to inspect noise, and bad hall.

Took a week off , was sick as a dog.

Anyways, back to regular scheduled programming!

Slick has arrived!

Going to take a few days.

Seems my brand new QS motor has some issues, one of the hall sensors on auto tuning had given me some issues, one kept dropping out. Swapped to second set, and all was well. However I can now hear the failed hall sensor inside has come loose. ( great quality qs 😡). So going to pull cover fix the halls so I have both sets again, and swap tire to the slick. Motor has still been working fine as they come with two hall sensors. Just not keen on not having backup, and dont want the other to come apart and get into windings.

So yay, to pulling brand new motor apart with 5 miles.

I am not a suspension guru, nor a chassis guy.

By trade I do engine calibration, been racing most of my life. Just never really dug into all of it. We always had a “guy”

On the quest to making the bike the best it can be, learning, understanding, being able to make changes (wise or unwise) and see the results is cool.

This is 1/10 scale model to what I have already designed on the bike. So everything is true to spec (rear suspension), just at 1/10th scale.

While I do not have all the answers yet, Its the start. As always I enjoy sharing the process with everyone.

Progress!Hopefully finally get that sub 3 second 0-60 😃
