1969 Mexican Spec Ford Country Sedan - 60927Q

Hello friends

This is a 1969 Mexican Spec Ford Country Sedan.

Under the hood of this beauty is a 302 V8 mated to a an automatic transmission.

The yellow paint is the original color of the car and the paint is in decent shape for its age.

This car is still a daily driver that takes its owner to work every day.

The interior features a front and rear green vinyl bench seat. This is the original upholstery to the car.

I have not seen this design in a U.S. Spec car. It is Mexico only.

The car has beige door panels and you might think they are not original to the car, but this car could have been built this way.

Weird things came out of the Mexican factory colorwise on these cars that I have seen over the years.

In the wayback there are a few speakers for the stereo system.

Out back both tail lights are intact, which is rare on these wagons.

The wheel covers on the car are original to the car. The wheel covers used in the US were of a different design.

It needs a complete detail and is missing one piece of trim, but over all this is a clean example of a cool station wagon.

1997 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Caravelle - 60927P

Hello friends

Here we have a 1997 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Combi.

By 1997, Mexico had stopped producing the vans so this one was built in Brazil to Mexican Specifications.

The Volkswagen Van sold in Brazil, in 1997, did not have the drivetrain the Mexican van had.

Out back is a liquid cooled 1.8L inline 4 cylinder engine which is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

The liquid cooled engine gives you advantages over the air cooled engine in that it has more power and you have the option if installing an air conditioning system.

Finding parts for this engine is easy as it is the same 1.8L engines used in many other models of Volkswagen around that time.

This van has a split bench seat up front which gives you room for 3 passengers.

Out back there is a rear facing bench seat right behind the front seats as well as a forward facing bench in the way back.

There is also another bench seat between the two, room for more passengers.

The van is riding on chrome directional wheels and will come with a new set of tires.

If you like, we can find a set of original wheels with the new tires, at cost of course.

This was an all white van that was painted dark green from the belt line down.

The paint needs a cut and buff to shine like it should.

There is a roof rack for more storage potential, in case you load the van with people and they all have luggage.

Being a 1997 model, this van has the raised roof from the factory. An average sized person can almost stand up in the van.

You have curtains all the way around the van for privacy.

Being that you have a liquid cooled engine, you have a heater that actually works.

The VIN on this van is 9BWZZZ217VP******. The 9 at the start indicates it was built in Brazil.

This van is being sold for a very reasonable price. Normally the newer models go for much more.

1998 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Beetle - 60927J

Hello friends

Here we have a 1998 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Beetle.

By this time, Volkswagen Mexico called it the Volkswagen Sedan officially.

Out back is a fuel injected 1600 cc type 1 4 cylinder. This helps the car start and run smoother.

Being a newer model, this car will also have front disc brakes.

The car has traveled 125,480 KM (77,969 Miles) in the past 29 years. 2,688 miles per year is very low.

It is riding on its original steel wheels with all four center caps in place wrapped in new tires.

The interior has been done in vinyl that is 3 colors, black, red and white.

The rear seat matches the front buckets as do the door panels.

In this year the bumpers and headlight bezels matched the color of the car.

This is a very clean, low mile car and if you like the interior design, it is the perfect car.

1981 U.S. Spec Volkswagen Caddy - 60927G

Hello friends

Here we have a 1981 U.S. Spec Volkswagen Caddy. Some people call this the Rabbit Pick Up.

U.S. Spec means it was imported into Mexico at some point in its life from the U.S..

Under the hood is a 1.7L 4 cylinder gasoline engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

Quite a bit of work has been done on this truck, as you may be able to tell.

The green paint is in really good condition. There are some imperfections, as this is a daily driver.

You can see on the left front wheel lip, there is a little paint missing.

The door handles have been shaved and it has a remote to open the doors.

The bed cover comes with the truck.

It has been lowered just a little, just the right amount.

It has its original tail lights, which are in great condition. If you know these trucks you know how important that is.

The mesh wheels look good, but it should use a new set of tires for safety reasons.

New tires can be installed before delivery if the buyer requests them.

The seats are Recaro bucket seats in average condition. The seats have a few imperfections as well.

The seats can be recovered here before delivery if the buyer wishes.

The dash has a crack in it, but is intact otherwise.

1983 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Beetle

Hello friends

Here we have a 1983 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Beetle.

This one has been modified a bit.

The paint is a 3-Coat pearled pink. The paint changes colors in the sun.

The car has been lowered just a little, just enough.

The car has a basket on the roof for more storage area, just in case you need that.

The car has LED headlights as well as LED fog lights on the front bumper.

All four brake drums have also been painted pink to match.

All of the trim has been painted white, such as the window gaskets as well as the running boards.

The car is riding on Porsche wheels wrapped in new tires.

The interior features front bucket seats in ch*****ne colored vinyl with grey cloth inserts and "VOLKS" embroidered into the seats.

The rear seat matches the fronts.

It has a stereo installed as well as four speakers on the rear package shelf. You will hear the stereo loud and clear.

Big speakers are also installed on both kick panels. You might want to remove the speaker on the left side for more room for your feet.

The dash pad has been color coded to the seats. It really is a nice interior in this car.

Out back is a carbureted 1600 cc 4 cylinder which is, of course, mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

An aftermarket steering wheel has been installed. It does go along with the interior style.

1980 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Wagon - 60927F

Hello friends

Here we have a 1980 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Station Wagon.

If any car is a Sleeper, this is it. Let me explain.

Under the hood is a Mexican 302 V8 mated to a 3 speed manual transmission.

It is understood by drag racers that the Mexican block on this 302 V8 can be built to handle more power than the US V8.

Nobody would expect this wagon to blow their doors off.

The white paint is in good condition but this has been a daily driver for 47 year so there are a few imperfections.

You can see the front bumper on the right front corner is a little bent. These bumpers are available though.

The front seat is covered in red vinyl with red cloth inserts. This is a comfortable seat to go long distances.

The rear seat matches the front.

The wayback has red carpet to protect it.

The dash was covered in red vinyl and looks good.

This car was born with no factory heater so you don't have to worry about a heater core.

A cassette stereo has been installed and that is great if you have any cassettes.

Being that this is a Mexican car, the engine still has points and not electronic ignition.

Look at the engine compartment. It can't get any cleaner.

The car is riding on its original steel wheels and its original wheel covers.

The car will come with a new set of tires.

This car has no extra, power robbing, options. The car is as lights as it can be with the interior installed.

It would make a great drag car and nobody would expect to lose to a white wagon.

1989 Mexican Spec Chevrolet Cutlass Eurosport - 60927E

Hello friends

In case you haven't seen one these before, this is a 1989 Mexican Spec Chevrolet Cutlass Eurosport.

Yes, I said Chevrolet. Oldsmobile wasn't officially sold in Mexico so this car was sold under the Chevrolet flag.

I know it still says Oldsmobile on the car.

Also, the Ciera name was not used in Mexico, so this is a Cutlass Eurosport.

When the Chevrolet Celebrity stopped production in 1989, the Cutlass carried on until 1996.

A similar car was sold in the US, kind of, in the International package on the Ciera. Maybe they were referring to the Mexican car with the International designation.

Under the hood is a 3.1L V6 which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.

This car has traveled only 53,951 KM (33,523 Miles) in the past 38 years.

The car is riding on its original wheels. The car will come with a new set of tires.

The interior has recently been done in white vinyl front and rear.

Being this is a 5 speed car, it has buckets seats up front and a bench seat in the rear.

When the upholstery was done, a white vinyl dash front cover was installed to brighten up the interior.

For a stereo you have a screen of some kind.

This is a beautiful super low mile car.

Yes, I know it is a 4-door, but that just means you don't have to push the front seat forward for your rear passengers to get out.

While they did sell a similar car in the US, they did not equip it with the 5 speed manual transmission which makes this car super fun to drive.

1982 U.S. Spec Toyota Pick Up 4X4 - 60927D

Hello friends

This is a beautiful 1982 U.S. Spec Toyota Pick Up 4X4.

This truck has been restored to a high level with a National Geographic livery.

You can decipher the VIN yourself. JT4RN48D5C0******

This truck has the DLX package. That package got you rear vent windows and a sliding rear cab window.

You also got dual outside mirrors as well as Upgraded bench seat upholstery (cloth or embossed vinyl) with a tilt-forward mechanism.

Mechanically you got power-assisted front disc brakes.

It features a push bar at the front as well as a metal basket for extra storage on the roof.

You have 4 auxiliary lights for extra light on those dark nights off-roading.

Metal running boards with steps have been installed.

The bed is in good condition and has 2 gas can holders, also, just in case you are far from a fuel station.

Two shovels are also mounted on the truck for whatever you need them for.

Under the hood is a stock 22R 4 cylinder engine which is mated to a manual transmission.

The 4X4 is also operated with a floor shifted lever.

The front seat has recently been done in beige and brown vinyl in the original style.

1975 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Brasilia - 60927A

This is a 1975 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Brasilia.

This was a car built in Brazil that was allowed to be built in Mexico for the domestic market.

Only the 2 door hatchback was built in Mexico while they had the 4 door hatchback in Brazil.

Out back is a 1600 cc type 1 4 cylinder.

All rear engine Volkswagens used the same engine, the 1600 cc 4 cylinder.

This car is running very well. It recently passed its smog test in Mexico City. They are very serious about that there.

The car is riding on its original steel wheels, with no hub caps, wrapped in tires in excellent condition.

This is not a restored car but rather a daily driver.

It needs the black strip on the front and rear bumpers.

The interior was recently redone in black vinyl front and back.

There is a newer style stereo in the dash with a rather large speaker box in the wayback.

This car literally needs nothing to be an excellent daily driver.

1981 Mexican Spec Valiant Volaré - 60927B

Hello friends

Here we have a 1981 Mexican Spec Valiant Volaré.

In 1970, Chrysler Mexico dropped the Plymouth name and went with Valiant as the make.

The Valiant Volaré was a lower trim level from the Dodge Dart of the same year.

Under the hood is a 225 Slant 6 with a 2 barrel carburetor, more commonly known as the Super Six.

What makes this car special is the factory floor shifted 3 speed manual. It also makes this car more fun to drive.

It is equipped with power steering and power brakes as well as a factory heater that is not hooked up.

This may indicate it needs a new heater core. If the car is delivered to the Nogales border we could have that done at our cost.

The red paint is in really nice condition as you can see from the pictures.

The car is riding on its original steel wheels with all four hub caps in place wrapped in wide white wall tires.

This car has no rust anywhere as you can see from the picture of the trunk floor. It looks new.

The car has traveled 69,322 KM (43,074 Miles) in the past 46 years which is only 937 miles per year.

The interior has just been re-upholstered, the plastic is still on the seats.

The front has bucket seats while the rear is a bench seat and it is all covered in light beige vinyl.

There is a vintage looking stereo in the dash with Bluetooth.

Last year I sold one of these to a client and drove it half way across Mexico to deliver it to the border.

I was impressed with how well that car drove, that car had no power steering or brakes, and we passed much more modern cars with no problem.

This is a low mile example of a rare car. The rareness comes from the 3 speed manual on the floor.

Most of these, the overwhelming majority, were 3 on the tree equipped.

These cars get good gas mileage and will have all the eyes on it at your local car show.
