OXE150

The OXE150 is the most popular unit in the OXE Diesel range. It delivers 150hp and 380NM (280 ft-lb) of torque. With the high torque gear ratio on the primary system, the OXE150 delivers up to 607NM (447 ft-lb) of torque on the propeller shaft.

The OXE150 is considered the ultimate work tool for many commercial users, especially heavy-duty vessels with single or multiple installations. The unit allows for long-range operations due to fuel consumption limited to 32L/hr

The OXE150 is specifically designed for agility and controllability in heavy commercial or load demanding applications, as well as in tender boats.

PETROL OUTBOARD POLLUTES 48% MORE CO2 THAN AN OXE. Throughout the development process of the OXE Diesel, the goal was to develop and implement technologies and strategies to provide engines that meet the most stringent standards in exhaust, noise and vibration emissions.

The reduced fuel consumption is a key factor to why the OXE Diesel engine emits significantly lower CO2 than petrol outboard engines. 1L Diesel produces approximately 2.69kg and 1L petrol produces 2.36kg CO2 when ignited. However, as the OXE Diesel consumes up to 42% less fuel than comparable petrol alternatives that also emit up to 48% more CO2 than an OXE 200 at rated power.

The OXE Diesel models are compliant with the emission regulations established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), European Union (EU), the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and for OXE175 and OXE200 the EIAPP. It is also compliant with IMO Tier II, EPA Tier III and RCD.

An OXE is built to be run all year around. As the engines are self draining, there is limited risk in sub zero weather. Since the engine is cooled with a closed circuit filled with engine coolant, it is also possible to install an engine heater that is connected to shore power. Making sure the engine is ready to perform for you even in very challenging climate.

The OXE engines are capable of producing insane amount of TORQUE and that is why all OXE engines comes with the PATENTED BELT TRANSFERE system. A traditional vertical shaft with bevel gear and dog clutch will not be able to handle the powers generated by the engine.
