We Were Asked to Find a Buyer.
We Designed a personalised Owner’s Solution.

When the Azimut dealer responsible for the sale of a 25-metre Magellano contacted us, the initial question was straightforward: did SeaNet SuperYachts have a client who might want to acquire the yacht?

The yacht had been offered for a conventional 100% sale. Before we started looking for a buyer, however, we wanted to understand why the owner wanted to sell.

He was not dissatisfied with the yacht. His ambitions had simply evolved.

The owner wanted to begin developing a fully custom steel-and-aluminium explorer yacht for extended cruising in Scandinavia and other northern waters. That development and construction process is expected to take approximately two years.

Selling the existing yacht in full would have meant giving it up immediately, long before the explorer was ready. It would also have treated the sale of one yacht and the development of the next as two separate events, while they were in fact part of one ownership journey.

So we designed a phased ownership solution.
An initial 50% participation, consisting of 16.67% and 33.33% ownership interests, was transferred to incoming co-owners. This made part of the capital invested in the yacht available to the owner at the start of his explorer project, while allowing him to continue using a yacht he already knows and enjoys.

At the same time, a pre-agreed pathway was established for the phased sale of his remaining 50% participation over the following two years.

The owner therefore has certainty that he can complete his exit by the end of the transition, without being forced to stop cruising during the development and construction of his next yacht.

Over the past decade, SeaNet SuperYachts has helped reshape the future of yacht ownership

From pioneering Yacht Co-Ownership to developing Yacht Matchmaking and delivering complete Yacht, Crew & Hospitality Management, SeaNet SuperYachts has introduced a new way of thinking about the yachting lifestyle.

One built around flexibility, personalisation and total care.

Behind every yacht in our journey is a unique story: owners with different ambitions, lifestyles and dreams. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, SeaNet SuperYachts creates ownership strategies tailored to each client, from traditional ownership to progressive ownership models, Co-Ownership or a combination of solutions.

As we look back at the yachts we have played a role in over the past 10 years, we are also looking ahead to the next chapter of yachting. A future where ownership is smarter, more connected and designed around the experiences that matter most.

Discover what this future holds as we celebrate 10 Years of SeaNet SuperYachts during the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8–13 September. If you wish to attend the festival, please request your tickets here: https://seanet.eu/cyf-registration/

Colours play an important role in our lives. They influence our mood, shape our preferences, and evoke subconscious associations. At sea, the colour palette creates a unique sense of calm, with soothing tones like these defining the experience.

Which colours of our palette make you feel at ease? 🎨

Behind the Build: Episode 2 with David Seal is now live

At SeaNet Superyachts, we believe that a successful superyacht is not only defined by her design, size or final appearance.

It is defined by the structure behind her.
The ownership model.
The management platform.
The crew.
The preparation.
The decisions made long before delivery.

That is why, together with David Seal, we are presenting this 53-metre full-custom superyacht project in a different way. Instead of launching the yacht through one traditional market announcement, we are sharing the story step by step through a four-part documentary series. The objective is to show what normally remains behind the scenes: the people, decisions, systems and experience required to bring a world-class superyacht project to life.

Episode 1: The Delivery
In Episode 1, David Seal joined the SeaNet Superyachts team during the final delivery preparations of the 53-metre superyacht. The episode captured the pressure, coordination and final preparations around one of the most important moments in a yacht’s lifecycle.

More importantly, it showed the calm and professional atmosphere on board during handover. That calm was not a coincidence.

It was the result of preparation, structure, teamwork and an operational platform built long before the yacht left the shipyard.

Many of you may already have seen Episode 1. For those who have not, it remains the best starting point to understand the context of the full series.

Episode 2: The Operator Behind Smarter Superyacht Ownership
In this episode, David speaks with Matty Zadnikar, Founder and CEO of SeaNet Superyachts, about the evolution of SeaNet Superyachts, the ownership philosophy behind the company, and the importance of professional yacht, crew and hospitality management.

The conversation explains why successful entrepreneurs are increasingly attracted to managed ownership. Not because they cannot own a yacht outright. But because they value a smarter, more efficient and professionally managed way to enjoy yachting.

Behind the build: inside the development of a superyacht 🎥

A superyacht is only as successful as the decisions made long before she touches the water.

From selecting the right shipyard and design team to managing budgets, timelines, technical details and stakeholder expectations, every stage of the development process plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional yacht.

Together with David Seal, SeaNet SuperYachts has proudly documented this fascinating journey in an exclusive four-episode series, following the development and delivery of a brand-new custom-built 53-metre superyacht.

The series offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the full process, from the early vision and development phase through to final delivery.

It also demonstrates why having an experienced owner’s representative involved throughout the project is so valuable. Acting solely in the owner’s best interest, Matty Zadnikar and the SeaNet SuperYachts team coordinate the many stakeholders involved, help mitigate risks, safeguard quality and keep the project moving in the right direction from concept to completion.

Episode 1 takes you through the yacht’s final pre-delivery preparations: from the last finishing touches at the shipyard and essential safety routines with the crew, to the moment the yacht heads out to open sea under her own power for the very first time.

Want to see what it really takes to bring a world-class superyacht from vision to reality?

SeaNet Superyachts athlete Kobe Pauwels showed strong pace at the 24 Hours of Spa 🇧🇪

Kobe completed three stints, driving a total of 3 hours in one of the world’s toughest GT endurance races. During his time behind the wheel, he moved the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 from P10 to P4 in the Silver Cup, putting the team in a strong position with 16.5 hours of racing still to go and a podium well within reach.

Unfortunately, just after midnight, the car was involved in a crash while being driven by one of Kobe’s teammates, bringing Kobe’s and his team’s 24 Hours of Spa campaign to an early end.

Although the result didn’t reflect the pace they had throughout the race, Kobe once again showed his speed, consistency, and ability to perform under pressure on one of GT racing’s biggest stages.
