It really is. Having to push through a final race on the grid knowing it’s the immediate end of a chapter—even a temporary one—makes for a very heavy, uncomfortable weekend for everyone involved.
There is a unique kind of pressure in trying to give 100% on the track while dealing with that elephant in the room. But sometimes, leaving it all out on the tarmac is the best way to close out a heavy chapter.
Wishing the team, the crew, and the rider a smooth, safe ride tomorrow. Make it count, pack up the garage with pride, and take the time you need to reset.
