It's a great time to travel to Bagan when it's not so extremely hot yet during the day. Even if the temperature swings upward a bit, sipping a chilled Myanmar beer by the hotel's poolside during the afternoon in Bagan is much more bearable than the humid heat in Yangon. Early mornings and late nights are still cool and pleasant at this time of the year.
Personally, I like to ride around on a scooter amidst these thousand-years-old temples while contemplating the fleeting nature of happiness in life and our continual struggle in pursuit of it.
Here are some of the less crowded 'secret' temples in Bagan that are worth checking out.

The last few months have been total grind work for you with endless meetings, tedious clients, consistent nagging of emails and phones, and the crowded congested city of Yangon, all bearing down on you.
Yeah I know. Everyone needs a little break for self-reflection, meditation, and winding down. How about going for a run on the endless white sandy beach as the sun sets over the Bay of Bengal?
Take time to be 'you' under the vast emptiness of this multiverse as a portion of our stars-sprinkled Milky Way look down upon you. Remember the impermanence of our life and all earthly beings. You will find peace tonight amidst rhythmic roars of the ocean and your lover's embrace.

For those of us who find it hard to do nothing in this “always online” world, Ngwe Saung Beach is a really good place to practise the art of just being.
