Practice what you preach. Centurion's C.E.O., Carleton has been on a multiyear overland adventure with his own truck. Starting from Boston, USA he has just completed his trek to Mount Everest and exploring the provinces of Western China.

The journey has so far covered over 12,000 miles of mixed road conditions and altitudes. From one of the lowest points on the planet in Death Valley to Everest Base Camp, the Ford Raptor has been very reliable. Carleton credits this to his daily and monthly maintenance checks (the same ones Centurion uses) and advanced road condition knowledge of the areas he was visiting.

It's experiences like these that help make our skills sharper and knowledge vaster. Centurion is continuing to improve its' knowledge of becoming safer drivers everyday, and not just the stuff you will read in textbooks. Sometimes in rural mountainous roads, rules need to be broken to improve your chances of survival. This becomes even more important when hitting mixed weather conditions while surrounded on the road with untrained drivers who endanger you.

Centurion Auto continues to deliver the best advanced driver training program in Myanmar by offering these personal experiences into our already substantial amount of information. If your company is in need of improving its driver safety standards, please contact us today. We guarantee an improved understanding of vehicles and real life solutions that can help safe lives.

Centurion finished up our second group of driver training for the Australian Embassy last week. By dividing the Embassy staff into two groups, we can insure more direct 1-1 training with students while allowing normal day to day activities to be accomplished at Embassy without interruption. We have found groups of 15 and under students to best for maximizing training activities and student interaction.

The Australian Embassy group was very active in discussion and throughout practical exercises, bringing up some great questions and explanations to items they had never had Ben explained before concerning car maintenance and driving dynamics. This second group consisted of all Myanmar speaking students, so our class was led in Myanmar language by our local C.O.O., Ye Kyaw Swar, to make sure all topics were well understood. Centurion believes heavily in training in the language that students are comfortable with. There are many times when people will say they understand English but still miss many of the meanings. To maximize the student’s understanding, it is imperative we train in their native language.

Centurion would like to thank the Australian Embassy once again for trusting us to help Kee your staff safe and educated with proper driving skills. We cannot think of a better training lunch that we have ever had (their onsite chef makes some amazing chicken bbq)! We appreciate everyone’s patience and willingness to be open-minded I’m dealing with new concepts and the oppressive heat that April brings. We look forward to working with the Australians in the near future.

Centurion had the pleasure of training the Australian Embassy this week. While the weather was very hot (41c in the training lot), the group made the best out of it.

We ended up customizing a 2 day stage 3 training that consisted of driving dynamics, security and general guidelines. Students were focused and inquisitive throughout the class asking many questions and interacting on a routine basis.

The practical training in our private test lot was a scorcher (even the asphalt was melting)! But students remained focused in performing ABS braking, lane change, and slalom exercises. Our team was very happy to see improvement throughout the day with numerous students in relation to the smoothness of the inputs and speed carried.

Centurion Auto would like to thank the Australian Embassy for providing us the opportunity to train your drivers and look forward to working together in the future.

Last weekend Centurion was pleased to work together with the Myanmar British Embassy for their annual driver training regime. This is the second time around for this group so we were able to discuss items in more detail than usual. Great questions were asked and students continued to be very positive and involved throughout the course. Centurion Auto is very thankful for the opportunity to work with the British Government on providing modern driving techniques to improve their Employees safety while on the road.

While most government institutions follow a steadfast annual or bi-annual safety training for their worker’s benefit, its sad to see many corporations in Myanmar not requiring any safety training for their employees. These courses help save lives and improve employee morale. Please contact us today to discuss what driver training course is the most beneficial to your company.

The first videos are up of "Drive" magazine's 2018 car of the year testing. Centurion was honored to be asked to design a course that could challenge each vehicle in a safe and fun manner within a tight testing ground.

Our C.O.O. Ye Kyaw Swar was up to the challenge and delivered a course that succeeded in accomplishing these tasks. See if you can spot him in this video putting this year's candidates through their paces. Results should be out within the next few weeks. Centurion would like to thank "Drive" for trusting us to improve the testing criteria for their car of the year and looks forward to continue working with them in the future.

This week Centurion helped design and create “Drive” magazines car of the year road tests. Our C.O.O. Ye Kyaw Swar designed and implemented a road course design that could put all this year’s COTY candidates through some challenging and fun exercises to test their limits and feedback.

Overall, over 45 vehicles were tested with copious notes taken. Please stay tuned as the Myanmar Car of the Year will be announced November 2nd. Centurion was honored to be placed in charge of the testing segment of the MCOTY.

We also got some time to catch up with the team as our C.E.O. Flew in to oversee the proceedings and our old operations assistant Baw Baw stopped by to discuss his exciting new job offer. Good luck Baw Baw, we are proud of you!

Centurion has finished another advanced driver training session for Yoma Fleet. As Yoma continues to expand throughout Myanmar, they refuse to sacrifice their driving and safety standards in the process of doing so.

Centurion delivered one of our Yoma Fleet customized training course over the last two days. Led my our C.O.O., Ye Kyaw Swar, students were put through an intensive 7 hour theoretical course followed by a half day of advanced driving maneuvers on our private testing facility with a variety of vehicles that they will operate when working.

Centurion would like to thank Yoma Fleet again for their continued support and trusting Centurion with the training of their drivers. We look forward to your continued expansion and success.
