Senior IT Technician – Automotive & Showrooms

Department: IT Department

Role Summary:
The Senior IT Technician is responsible for maintaining high-level infrastructure availability across all sites, managing complex technical issues, leading small-scale IT projects (e.g., office moves, new showroom tech), and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Provide 3rd line support for server infrastructure, virtual machines, network security, support junior team daily issue and data backups.
Team Leadership: Lead helpdesk operations, triage tickets, and mentor junior technicians.
Project Management: Lead IT infrastructure projects for showroom upgrades, new branch setups, or security system rollouts.
Security & Compliance: Enforce data security practices, ensure antivirus/firewalls are operational, and audit user permissions (GDPR/Data Privacy compliance).
Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors for internet connectivity, security cameras.
System Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for network diagrams, IT processes, and user procedures.
Other necessary tasks assigned by the IT Manager.

Requirements:
4+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 years in a senior or lead role.
Good experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies.
In-depth knowledge of networking (Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs).
Proven ability to lead projects and work under pressure.
Experience within the automotive sector or a multi-site retail environment is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Quality Control Department.
- Monitor and control quality standards across Trim, Interior, Chassis, Door and Final Inspection Lines.
