The technical assembly of the Mercedes Benz 190SL restoration at Riga Master Workshop is progressing through the complex integration of the dashboard and cockpit systems. This week, we continue the assembling process with wiring, control and sound isolation to build out the inner firewall architecture.
As shown in the technical photos, we laid down tailored sound isolation panels alongside thick rubber-backed dampening sheets on the footwell planes. Our specialists prepared and systematically installed the main electrical wiring harness loom, routing the braided leads through factory-correct firewall passthroughs. Concurrently, mechanical controls were integrated into the dash structure, which included mounting the mechanical linkage bars, mechanical pivot links, foot pedals, and the rubber-booted foot-operated windshield washer pump assembly.

The technical Audi UrQuattro restoration at Riga Master Workshop is proceeding with external panel alignment. This week, we continue assembling the car and installed, adjusted the doors, windows and exterior moldings.
We want to note that the task entrusted to us by the car owner is to repair and paint the body. Therefore, all removed parts are reinstalled without restoration, only repaired as necessary. Our specialists reassembled the factory internal locking mechanisms and drop glass tracks inside the door cards before positioning the exterior rubber window seals, door mirrors, and perimeter moldings. These assemblies were finely aligned to ensure correct weather sealing and proper closure panels.

The technical Shelby GT500 1967 restoration at Riga Master Workshop continues through its forensic disassembly stage. This week, we share the photos of the car safety roll bar, dismantling and inspection, documenting the extraction of the unique structural overhead loop.
Upon inspection, we discovered that the car retained its original finish beneath the trim layers. Therefore, during dismantling we will continue to meticulously document all these historical traces, such as the exact placement of the retractor reel brackets, internal ventilation extraction ducts, and original anchoring hardware. This extensive technical cataloging allows us to accurately restore them and assist other restorers seeking to preserve this model's original appearance.

The technical Steyr Daimler Puch 230GE restoration at Riga Master Workshop is shifting focus toward cabin systems and hardware integration. This week, we continue assembling the inside systems of the car, focusing on internal door components and electrical ancillaries.
As documented in the photographs, our team lined the inner door shells with premium aluminum-backed sound dampening mats to minimize panel resonance. We rebuilt and positioned the interior window regulators and actuation rods within the newly painted door frames. Additionally, mechanical attention was given to the cabin's upper wiring infrastructure, where we installed the refurbished interior dome lamp and its associated black mounting trim bezel.

The technical assembly phase of the Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 w109 restoration at Riga Master Workshop is proceeding with detailed trim and hardware integration. This week, we continue assembling the doors, focusing on the exterior brightwork and locking systems.
As documented in the progress photographs, our team overhauled the original chrome exterior door handles, dismantling the internal lock cylinders, springs, and tumblers for thorough cleaning and mechanical adjustment. Following handler restoration, we prepared and installed the polished stainless steel upper window frame trims, door glass guide channels, and waistline moldings. These components were meticulously aligned to achieve factory-correct panel gaps and seamless sealing across the door profiles.

The climate control overhaul for the Mercedes Benz 300SEL3,5 w109 1972 restoration at Riga Master Workshop has progressed to auxiliary cabin components. This week, we are inspected the air condition unit and prepared it for installation on the car.
As documented in the technical photographs, the entire Behr climate control housing was disassembled to check the structural integrity of the plastic casing and vacuum actuators. Our technicians pressure-tested the internal evaporator core and verified the condition of the expansion valve and refrigerant line connections. Following thorough cleaning and the application of fresh insulating foam seals, the module was reassembled and is ready for integration.
