Safe to say, this is the first McLaren Artura with DLC-coated shock shafts. Got these from a front-end-crashed car, had them repaired, and they’re now ready to be enjoyed again!

Long overdue thing: an international website for our products. We had it built for at least 5–6 months now, but lacked the time to add all the products. Well, we still lack time with all the rebuilds we’re doing and a new workshop coming, but enough is enough 😅

We should go live with it in a couple of weeks, with all the McLaren and other MagRide products, and add more along the way.

We’ve been pretty quiet here with photos and videos because our hands have been full with a long-overdue decision.

Thanks to all the support we’ve received from our clients, we’ve outgrown our current facility and are now preparing to move into one that’s twice as big!

Had a great opportunity to be a part of amazing build from .slix on his Aventador SV. Shocks are back to new and ready for miles ahead!

Also, we do have a set of SV rear shocks for core exchange!

Set of rears already off to UK, and will be back in stock in around 2weeks.

Monday’s deliveries:

🇺🇸 600LT front & rear shocks to the USA
🇬🇧 720S front shocks to the UK

Tomorrow we’re shipping another 6x 720S shocks and restocking with:

A couple of sets of 570S front & rear shocks
A full set of front & rear shocks for the 720S

All of these will be available on an exchange basis, meaning there’s no need to leave your McLaren parked for days while your shocks are being rebuilt!

What working on suspension has taught us is that just when you think you understand most of it, something new comes up. Testing shocks on a crank dyno seemed sufficient at first—until you get a perfect dyno graph, but the shock still has issues in the car.

We needed a way to verify and create real-world shock absorber behavior, especially to test performance over sharp bumps, where most noises occur.

That’s where the EMA dyno proved to be the perfect solution. It allows us to identify even the smallest imperfections, clearly displaying them on a graph and giving us the ability to refine and improve our refurbishment process

We are increasing our R8 stock of cores and now cover all GEN1 models with multiple sets, plus a couple of sets for GEN2. Work has started on this batch!

As we refurbish more and more McLaren shocks, we’ve started to face an issue where an otherwise fully healthy shock core is considered unusable simply because corrosion has damaged the lift mechanism.

Starting today, we will be able to replace the lift with a brand-new unit!
