🏁Some weekends reveal much more than just a finishing position.

At Lohéac, Rokas Baciuška showed exactly why we are proud to stand behind him.

30 drivers entered one of the most competitive Euro RX1 fields of the season. The weekend brought rain, close contact, changing conditions and a puncture in Q4, which left Rokas only 15th after 4 qualifying sessions.

From that point, there was no room for error.

He climbed from P4 to P3 in the quarter-final. From the final row of the semi-final, he fought his way into 3rd place and secured the last ticket to the final.

There, Rokas lined up alongside Fabien Pailler, Andreas Bakkerud, Juha Rytkönen, Johan Kristoffersson and Sébastien Loeb – some of the most accomplished names in international motorsport.

Starting sixth, he moved forward once again and finished the weekend in P5. Just 0.739 seconds behind Kristoffersson and a bit ahead of Loeb.

Returning to rallycross this season after a six-year break and reaching a Euro RX1 final in such company says a great deal about Rokas’ ability. Raw speed is only one part of it. Reading the race, adapting instantly, remaining calm under pressure and continuing to fight when the weekend does not go according to plan are what turn talent into results.

Some milestones are not measured only in numbers, kilometres or results.
They are measured in time, trust and people who stay through different stages of the journey.

This week, we had the honour to thank three long-standing GBY colleagues — two drivers and one used car sales manager — each counting more than 20 years with GBY.

More than two decades in one company is a rare achievement. It speaks about loyalty, professionalism, responsibility and the work done day by day, year by year.

📄 GBY Group Sustainability Report 2025 is now live.

For us, sustainability reporting is not only about meeting future requirements. It is about building a more transparent, structured and responsible way of working across the Group.

Although sustainability reporting under EU requirements is not yet mandatory for GBY Group, we have been preparing for this step for several years. Our first sustainability report was published in 2023, and since then we have continued developing our reporting process in line with CSRD and ESRS principles.

The 2025 report was prepared on a consolidated Group level and reflects our progress across key areas: environment, people, governance, risk management and responsible business practices.

In transport and logistics, sustainability is a long-term process. There is still work to do, and we do not see this as a finished result. But step by step, we are building the structure, data and internal discipline needed to move in the right direction. 🌱

Starting from May, each month at GBY Group we recognize one general cargo driver and one car-carrier driver for their overall performance behind the wheel and contribution.

Our evaluation looks at a broader picture: eco-driving performance, number of unloadings, distance covered, safety, responsibility and work quality.
