Sri Lanka tour of the 18.9.17-5.10.17 we were planning our trip this year very late and a little bit desperate whether we still do this with the Organization and planning. By chance, my husband at our Internet search has encountered chauffeur-Sri Lanka. He has recorded contact by mail with the wife of the CEO and her (all in English) explained what we roughly all want to see, how our notions of a hotel are (you can choose always to budget whether basic, standard or raised, as well as HP or VP) and whether they us e INE route together can make and what we would have to pay approximately. Within 1-2 days, a very detailed email came back with offer and many choices. For all questions and modifications, she was always very fast and with lots of help to the site so we had planned everything and we finally enjoyed within 14 days from the. (Flight have booked ourselves and then redirected the flight details by email) On the 18.9.17, we ended up against 15: 00 at the Colombo airport and were greeted by our driver Maduh for the entire journey there very cordial and friendly. He then took us to Hiran could (he is the Managing Director) home (approx. 30 minutes) where we could rest, set at the garden bar and relax with a delicious Lion Camp (beer). There we spent the first night. That was very good so we could acclimatise and relax in peace and quiet of the flight. After a shower, there was a live cooking of his wife and mother-in-law - incredibly tasty and full of love! After we went through the formalities and discussed the trip again in peace and get as many tips and tricks: how is it with tips, how are the people in Sri Lanka, what can you do what do you prefer and where lurking traps and tricks. We had to pay a deposit of $100 (caution, transfer via bank takes something and costs fees) from Germany and should pay - then on the spot in cash the balance because we were a little worried (because we had never done such a thing and people don't) knew) we have agreed for now to be paid 80% and the rest at the end, which was no problem (in hindsight but completely unnecessary was). The money took then to a large extent of the driver, then pay the hotels etc for us. There's also a beautiful gift for us, that now on our wall hangs and repeatedly reminds us of this great holiday. The next day, we started after a super delicious breakfast to Negombo. Once there are we on our first little Hill (Little Adam BB´s peak) wandered and enjoyed the view. Hotel mountain view was good, room was ok-with shower, bed, mosquito net that all best was the view from the balcony, just indescribable. Food was tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. The next day it went to Ella to a train approximately 2.5 3 hours. Recommended, because you can go and see a great lot in a beautiful atmosphere through this incredibly green countryside. Our driver Maduh has to train us the tickets organized and again picked us up at the destination station. From there, it was a really nice hotel to the Haeven seven-who felt upscale (had booked but only standard room/hotel) - all clean, neat, bathroom with tub and shower and the food just super delicious and very varied and for each what doing,. Nice, fast and always helpful staff. We spent 2 nights there and viewed from the city and hoarding Plains one national park recommended! Next to Kandy to visit waterfalls, temples and a cultural centre with a traditional show. In addition, we were in an elephant station (you can do does not need) and have risen in Sigiriya on the mountain--should make. Overnight in the Skyloft-as the hotel against all really nice and neat - super bathroom and views! The last station was in the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka: and so we could take with - very old former King you Anuradhapura and Polonaruwa. For all the ruins and ancient temples would like. Of course we visited again small factories on our trip including a tea factory (very nice and super tea), a batik factory very interesting and learned a lot as well as a forth bellow types (naja-beautiful plants watch but beware: there they pull one) right off the money: Fortunately our driver warned us :-)). In the evening we have had traditional massage us. This is optional and costs about 50-€70 / person. We have made also a Safari Tour, where the word slightly mad leads Safari, because it is actually an elephant Safari. If you want to see like many wild elephants up close you can do that, who would like to go on a real Safari is wrong here. The best hotel we have that Athena Lake in Dambulla-was stayed. For one, the rooms were incredibly nice, large balcony and pool in a very large garden with river at the end of the garden. On the other hand, it was the staff, what makes this hotel so incredible! Be sure to recommend you! Very attentive, friendly and helpful staff! Have also a tour with Maduh and an employee of the hotel through the small village made and met the people in the village and chewed betel with them;). To our driver: The best thing that could happen to us! Transport in Sri Lanka is just plain crazy and alone we would have made it safely from A to B, but with Maduh we are safe and always well come. He has been always before us tips when we have seen something what we should do and can be just as with tips and other behaviors (Temple visits). He was trying to find an answer to all our questions and always so good it went all to explain. Through him we have the correct Sri Lanka know and love--every day he has stopped at the roadside and shown us all possible fruits and food and test can be and every day there was a King of coconut, which should make healthy inside. All in all he was just always there when you needed him, has us insider tips to local (barefoot with fingers in a small shop on the roadside the best food of Sri Lanka ate!) and trips and safe care of us. But never intrusive or you had the feeling that you must tell him that you now would like to have time for two, it was the optimum mixture of da and travel alone! All in all an absolute TOP GUIDE! The end of our trip we spent in Trincomalee because we wanted to spend a few days vacation. The landscape and the beach were incredibly beautiful. On the beach itself, we were almost alone up to all 50 m a couple of dogs and cows. The water was blue and warm, the sand clean and Heiß. The only thing that was not good there was the Hotel Palm Beach that was worst staff and the complete ignorance selfsame. Maduh has tried repeatedly to speak with the staff and explained what wrong Läuft-no insight, so that he even suggested the hotel us on the last day to change any improvement in them, since it was the last day we didn't on this stress, but have very happy that Maduh has tried so! We went from Trincomalee to pigeon Island (boat), to snorkel there. I can see even a small shark :) The return journey was also great, with a final stop at his family, where we have eaten and drunk coconuts in his garden Egghopper. His family was incredibly nice and friendly. The last night we spent your own Curry again in Hiran, where I was able to take cooking lessons and have tried to make. On the last day, we had time until 18: 00, because the plane was late, we were so still time to visit Colombo and in the evening after a snack we went to airport. In our tour, all entrance fees for all previously discussed points of interest, parks, excursions were ect. inclusive, as well as water for the entire journey and the hotels with HP (is sufficient, it is so warm a lunch is usually not needed and the driver keeps eh always on the edge to the Früchteessen) also after our trip we have contact with Maduh still sporadically and with the travel all in all super satisfied and would it recommend any further and drive yourself again and again with them! Thanks again for everything! +Hiran: sorry for waiting so long time to our review! Please stay how you are - you are beautiful nice peoples!
