Sangeeth Suriyage #14 returned to the Supermoto Open class after a three-year silence. On 22 February, he delivered a standout performance that impressed everyone in attendance. He clocked a time of 36.270 seconds up the hill, crossing the line to secure both the Supermoto Open class victory and the coveted “Fastest Rider of the Day” title. Notably, Sangeeth still holds the all-time class record of 33.439 seconds, set in 2023. Due to forecasted bad weather, all competitors were limited to a single run on the day.
