A Sustainable Impact Initiative by Ideal Motors under “අපේ හෙට – Tomorrow Is Ours”
At Ideal Motors, we believe that building a better tomorrow begins with protecting the lives of the next generation.
As an automobile company with more than 100,000 vehicles on Sri Lankan roads, we recognize that our responsibility extends beyond providing mobility. It includes promoting road safety, protecting lives, and creating safer communities.
With growing concerns about road traffic accidents and the lives lost on our roads, we believe that road safety education must begin at an early age.
Through our continuous sustainability initiative, “මඟ සුරකිමු – දිවි රැකගමු” (Safe Roads – Save Lives), we aim to educate and empower schoolchildren in communities surrounding our business locations.
Our recent programme at WP/GM/Thakshila Maha Vidyalaya holds a special significance for our Ideal Family, as this is also the school attended by one of our employees' children. This makes the initiative even more meaningful, reflecting our commitment to caring not only for the communities around us but also for the families who are part of our own organisation.
Through “අපේ හෙට – Tomorrow Is Ours,” we extend a helping hand to our children, empowering them with the knowledge and awareness they need to become safer pedestrians, responsible future drivers, and advocates for road safety.
For us, sustainability is not only about protecting the environment. It is also about protecting lives, strengthening communities, and investing in a safer future.
