**For Sale: 1996 Honda Africa Twin XRV750 RD07A – Ride It, Don’t Polish It**

Serious bike for serious riders. This is the *real* Africa Twin — RD07A, the one people hunt down, not the newer tech-laden imitations.

Built in 1996. Imported privately from the UK to Cambodia in 2016. Only **60,000 genuine km**. And still rocking what is, in our opinion, the best colour scheme they ever did — white with factory red/blue stripes.

It’s not mint, and it’s not pretending to be. It’s got scratches, dings, and the kind of honest wear you expect on a 29-year-old bike that’s been *ridden*, not babied. But it’s in excellent mechanical condition — **smooth, strong V-twin**, never opened, never needed to be.

**The Good:**
- One owner in Cambodia (in his Cambodian wife’s name).
- Well maintained and regularly serviced.
- Strong engine, no smoke, no weird noises — just pure grunt.

**The Needs (we’re not hiding anything):**
- Odo gear hub is shot.
- Flasher relay needs replacing.
- Tyres are due for a change.

**Price is fair and firm.** Not playing games.

Pleased to announce the following:

It's not often you are put in the position to truly help another soul navigate life's uncertain paths.

We are all happy to tell you, that the Highfield contingent in Cambodia will be growing in number imminently, by one!!

One special 11 y/o Khmer boy called Phanit will be welcomed into our home.

His other options were limited.

So we did what was right.

We opened our hearts and our home to him! And we all feel blessed.

It's not going to be an easy journey (being a family of 5 already), but it's a road we are all committed to. And a road we travel together. Unperturbed by the uncertainty of it all.

It takes a big man to ask for help.

Something I've never done to date.

But I'm asking now. Not for right now, but for the next 7 years!

As a family, we have the space in our hearts and in our home to welcome Phanit.

But we want his choice of home to be a sustainable one.

So, I'm doing something I've never done before today. Which is to ask for help.

2003 Honda XR250 Tornado DOHC, for sale.

$2,700

Near immaculate example of this rare to Cambodia off-road capable machine.

The bike was imported to Cambodia in 2017, and has accrued just 6000 kms here.

Has plate and card. All taxes paid.

Bike is available to test ride in Kep.

Has had new wheel bearings, steering bearings.

We also replaced clutch friction discs with British made EBC clutch discs.

The bike sits at just under 17,000kms on the Speedo. Speedo works and mileage is true.

One owner in Cambodia.

Well maintained and cared for.

A rare and awesome bike, suited to standard Khmer roads, village red dirt roads and more than capable on twisty trails too.

It's a shorter version of the legendary XR250, equipped with electric start (no kick), a slightly heavier engine as it is a Double Overhead Cam engine.

Fuel economy is amazing.

Great handling in traffic.
