Owner brought in his Subaru GC8 Rally Car for a transformation - he tasked us that he wants his car to be a replica of the Group A Era Works Cars - in whatever close details possible, whilst also retaining practicality in today’s modern era of rallying.

Here at Tams Racing (a.k.a “Prodrive Kenya”) we were up to the task especially having majority of the bits in hand already. Having been in the Motorsport Business since 1989, and having serviced and worked on cars of the likes of Colin McRae, Richard Burns, Patrick Njiru, etc etc. we of course had what it takes.

It begun with a full stripping of the old harness, custom making a new Motorsport harness and finishing the electrical part of it. Next up was mechanical and thereafter cosmetic details. The car now sounds as close as possible that we could possibly get to the Group A Impreza as well as a few exterior mods to get it looking the part. Still a list left to get it there but, nothing we can’t handle.

We understand that it may not be cheapest to buy a Standalone ECU package in one - go, and modifying your can get expensive. We now want to make it easier by offering installment plans.

How it works?

2. Choose or let us know what payment plan works best for you. We have options from:
