A GOOD INSTRUCTOR MUST BE A MASTER OF HIS SUBJECT. CAPTAIN CHARLIE KONDE: CHIEF THEORY INSTRUCTOR. There is nothing as good as an instructor who has mastered his subject. Learners will develop full confidence once they realize that the instructor is conversant of what he is instructing. This kind of confidence will be a two-way traffic as the instructor will also feel appreciated by the learners. The instructors should not always assume that they have been teaching for so long that they no longer need to update their knowledge. They should keep abreast with the current trends on their subject. Knowledge has to be replenished and updated. In this situation, refresher training has to be emphasized.
