There is something special about vintage classics and the place they occupy in my heart. Perhaps it is their elusiveness, the rarity of seeing one on the road, or simply the knowledge that not everyone will ever own one. Their appeal has never depended on spectacle and the car’s poise remains undiminished. Not much excitement I’m afraid, just one of those seemingly innocuous encounters that carries an unexpected emotion weight.
From the ivory steering wheel giving a vintage appeal, the fluted ribbed seat detailing, the understated architecture of the dashboard, details from another era, when engineering excellence and considered design were central to a marque’s identity. For this vintage classic, we reimagined the cabin in a striking combination of rich red and black, introducing a little audacity while retaining the character of its original design.
The ribbed seat detailing, contrasting door panels and considered dashboard finishes come together through a deliberate relationship between colour, texture and form. Every surface contributes to an interior that feels cohesive, distinctive and unmistakably individual.
I mean restoring a classic doesn’t have to mean predictable, while some interiors call for subtlety others deserve to make a statement thus We can honour a vehicle’s heritage while allowing room for a new point of view.
This is a marque whose engineering, innovations and understated sophistication helped define the standards of its era, a testament to the enduring legacy of the Automaker.
