As transport disruptions continue, our thoughts are with the riders, operators, workers, and families feeling the impact most directly.

Moments like this highlight how closely livelihoods are tied to the cost of energy and transport in Kenya. For many people, changes in fuel prices immediately affect income, movement, and daily stability.

The future of mobility cannot rely only on access to vehicles. It also has to include more predictable and accessible energy models.

That’s why at Powerhive, we designed our battery swapping model to give riders access to energy at a fixed daily cost instead of the uncertainty that comes with fluctuating fuel prices.
