車のフロントガラスについて

車の運転をしているときに、フロントガラスが曇ったりすることがあります。

また寒い日の朝に車に乗り込むとフロントガラスが真っ白に凍っていることがあります。

今日はフロントガラスが凍ってしまった場合に、皆さんはどのような対応をされているでしょうか？

お湯をかける人、ワイパーを動かす人、いろいろな方法があります。

お湯をかける場合、注意しなければいけないのは、フロントガラスが割れてしまう場合があるということです。

ワイパーを動かすと、ワイパーの痛みが早くなってきます。

いろいろな方法はありますが、フロントのデフォッガー(曇りを取る風を送る)を使うのが1番無難で結果的に早いかもしれません。

エンジンをかけて暖気運転のついでに暖かい風をフロントに送っていると5分もしないうちにフロントガラスの氷が溶けていきます。

また、エンジンオイルを徐々に温めることで、エンジンの寿命も延ばすことができます。

これから冬になりますので、このような状況は多く見られる可能性があります。

燃費に良い走り方　　How to drive with good fuel efficiency

年々高額になってきているガソリン代。
多くの皆さんが、燃費を気にされている状況です。

ハイブリッド車を選ぶ人も増えています。

実はちょっとした走り方のコツがあるのです。

まず、ガソリン消費が多いシチュエーションは、止まっている状態からスタートし、加速する時になります。
このタイミングで、アクセルを優しく踏んであげれば、かなり燃費の改善になります。

後続車に迷惑がかかるようなノロノロとした加速ではいけませんが、多くの方が必要以上にアクセルを踏まれているように感じます。

次に、ハイブリッド車ではブレーキを踏むことで、エネルギーを電気として回収できますが、普通の車では、ブレーキを踏む時間が多ければ多いほどせっかくの運動エネルギーを無駄にしていることになります。

交通状況をしっかり把握すれば、信号が変わるタイミングでは、加速する必要がなかったり。あえて止まらないように、空走の状態からスタートしたりすることができます。

機能面では、リアガラスの曇り止めの熱線
リアデフォッガーというボタンは、エアコン操作のミスでオンになってしまっている方を見かけますが、かなり電気的な負荷となりますので、不用な場合はオフにされると良いです。

暑い寒いを我慢する必要はありませんが、エアコンも、エンジンの力を使いますので、不要な場合はオフにされると燃費の改善につながります。

ほんの少しの意識でも燃費について改善ができますので、ゲーム感覚でやって見られるのも良いと思います。

実際の燃費の計算については、ガソリンを満タンにした状態で、スピードメーターの中のトリップメーターをリセットして、次にガソリンを入れる時にどれくらいの距離を走ったかが確認できます。
例えば、240キロを20リットルで走った場合1リットルで12キロ走れたことになります。

移動ルートの決め方

目的地に向かうルートはどうやって決めていますか？
ナビゲーションシステム、地図アプリなど便利な時代になっており。初めての場所でも迷うことは少なくなりました。

自動車に初めてナビゲーションシステムが搭載されたのは、ユーノスコスモというマツダのフラッグシップクーペでした。

移動ルートの決め方として、知っている場所が目的地の場合、色々な条件でルートが変わります。

渋滞や信号に引っかかることを避ける裏道を選択することも少なくありません。
私は完全にこのタイプでした。
少し遠回りになったとしても気持ちよくドライブすればストレスフリー。という考え方だった訳です。

最近では、真逆の、多少の渋滞につかまっても、裏道を選択することは無くなりました。

遠回りして、無駄なガソリンを使い、しかも到着時間は変わらないという事に気がついた。ということもありますが、地図アプリの普及によって、裏道や抜け道が混み合うようになった。ということもあります。

間違いなく言えることは、大きな道(国道など)を使うことがストレス緩和、燃費改善、時間短縮につながる可能性が高い。ということになります。

手続きは慣れたものですが、実は毎回ドキドキしてしまいます。

ナンバープレートの番号は指定ができることはご存知だと思います。

また、柄のあるナンバープレートも選べます。

トレーサーって素晴らしい。

お客様から買取をしたお車。
元々商売でご使用されていたお車なので、ボンネット、ドア、リアゲートにガッチリとステッカーが貼ってあります。

ステッカーを除去するのに、まずはヒートガンというドライヤーの大きなものでステッカーの糊の部分を温めて親指でゴシゴシしていましたが、思うようにステッカーを剥げません。

親指はまめだらけとなってしまいましたので、トレーサーという道具を調達しました。

どんなものかと言うと、ドリルやインパクトドライバーの先に取り付けて、高速回転する丸い消しゴムのようなものです。

素晴らしいことに一文字剥がすのに10分くらいかかっていたのが、一台終わらせるのに1時間ほどで完了しました。

これから残った糊をシリコンオフで取り除き、磨いて仕上げてまいります。

What's amazing is that it used to take about 10 minutes to peel off one letter, but it took about an hour to finish all stickers.

From now on, we will remove the remaining glue with silicone off and polish it to finish.
