1. Henry Ford (Automotive Hall of Fame)
Founder of Ford Motor Company, Henry Ford revolutionized the automotive industry by inventing the world’s first mass production system with the Model T. His innovations made the automobile accessible to the masses, fundamentally transforming society and industry.

2. Taiichi Ohno (Automotive Hall of Fame)
As the architect of the Toyota Production System, Taiichi Ohno established a fully integrated and systematic approach to production, rooted in the concept of continuous improvement (Kaizen). His philosophy and methods have profoundly influenced manufacturing and management practices around the world.

3. George Akerlof (Nobel Prize)
George Akerlof was the first to shed light on the economics-views of the used car market, providing an economic framework to understand 19th-century automobile distribution. Despite his groundbreaking paper being rejected multiple times, it was eventually recognized with the Nobel Prize in Economics.
The founding members of Japox have drawn inspiration from these three pioneers.

In addition, we welcome inquiries from overseas businesses interested in opportunities within the Japanese used car distribution market.
