Soon after the Earthquake of East Japan (occurred on March 11th,2011), we’ve begun to support aid as the Fukusima blanch of “Support organization of disaster Agape CGN in Tokyo, Japan”. At that time, we supplied foods, clothes, mineral waters and so on. Our Fukushima area has been the terrible problem, radiation. So we established non profit organization, “FUKUSHIMA inochino-mizu (Life of Water)”. The most urgent missions are protecting newborn babies and infant from radiation, and preventing abortion, we think. And our reader Tsuboi think of catchphrase, “To save the life of a child in Fukushima”. We have been provided mineral waters to young mothers. At first stage, we’ll provide to government offices, but local government had declared,” Tap-water is safe’. So they had difficulty to provide water officially. And we feared increasing of social unrest by delivering them. So we have delivered mineral waters as volunteer work. It’s to relieve young mother’s economical burden. First, we delivered by truck to kindergartens and nursery schools. And then young mothers began to came our stock point, number of mothers increased day by day. But bottle of mineral waters are always luck in supply. Young mothers eagerly want to get waters. In fact, birth rage in Fukushima decreased 25%, and many parents escaped to other prefecture. Remainders very use mineral water even for cooking for their children. We believe providing safety waters have a social significance.
