【Alcohol Export Division】
This day, members of our Alcohol Export Division joined the annual Sasatabira celebration held by Kyoto’s historic brewery, Sasaki Shuzo.
As Sasaki Shuzo’s official export partner to Taiwan, we were honored to attend this special event alongside sake professionals and partners from Japan and abroad.
“Sasatabira” combines “Sasaki” and “tawara” (a straw sack representing harvest), and is held each year to celebrate brewing achievements and express gratitude to long-standing partners. It’s more than a tasting — it’s a bridge between craftsmanship and market collaboration.
During the event, we had the opportunity to taste Sasaki Shuzo’s newly awarded Gold Prize sake — refined, elegant, and full of character.
While it’s not yet launched in Taiwan, we’re planning for its future introduction through our export channels.
We are currently promoting two of Sasaki Shuzo’s signature products in Taiwan, which have been well-received in the market. (See details in images below.)
