1999: A.R.T. stands for „Advanced Racing Technology“ and represented the direct transfer of technology between the Schnitzer racing team and the tuning company AC Schnitzer. At the heart of the concept car was an engine design based on the S50 B 32 six-cylinder, four-valve powerplant. With the help of a specially developed airbox and the use of numerous custom parts, the AC Schnitzer ACS3 A.R.T. delivered 370 hp/272 kW and 380 Nm of torque. Naturally, all other areas of the vehicle were also adapted for the concept study. Another unique feature was the paint scheme of the ACS3 A.R.T., which displayed the telemetry data of an FIA Class II touring car across the entire body. Want to know more?
