For sale! And what a cool project she is too…1966 RHD 912 coupe. Originally Slate Grey with red interior. Sold new by Black & White Continental Ltd (Evesham) via AFN, May 1966

Ordered by a professor, who emigrated to Canada and took the car with him! The owner sadly died, the car lives on and I’m in the process of shipping her ‘home’ to England.

Lovely early wooden dash, factory optional five speed transmission, interesting history, rare colour combo and a scarce car.

She has been barn stored for a number of years and needs full restoration. But if you’re in the market for a project, this is a corker.

A nod to anyone else wielding spanners in this crazy heat….I spent most of the day in the engine bay of a ‘68 912 coupe, think I lost about two pounds in weight.

The car that started it all, for me anyway

Old faithful, otherwise known as Gerry. My own 1966 912, that I would later decide to drive to Vietnam.
Before that, it could often be seen around the West end of London, sporting a pair of 1960s wooden skis on the roof. Snow skis in winter, water skis in summer, but always skis.

And no, I don’t know how to do either, but it looked cool! 😎
