Una nuova Lancia Delta esce dalla carrozzeria con un aspetto totalmente rinnovato. In questo caso vi presento su base Mondomotors/Sunstar questa versione HF Integrale 8v che vinse il Rally Montecarlo 1989 con Miki Biasion alla guida.
Il modello mi è arrivato già con una parziale elaborazione da parte del proprietario, che aveva verniciato gli interni e aggiunto alcuni dettagli sulle griglie del paraurti anteriore ed il tappo carburante fotoinciso.
La trasformazione del modello è stata completata con il set di decals Martini mancante nel modello originale, l'aggiornamento degli interni con aggiunta di kevlar su pavimento, coperchio batteria e schienale sedili, cinture in stoffa con fotoincisioni, cablaggi batteria e sistema di estintori e pedaliera in metallo.
All'esterno poi ho aggiunto i ganci fotoincisi, un set di cerchi Speedline scomponibili di produzione F-Design by Francesco Arena con ventoloni all'anteriore, assetto ribassato, nuovo tubo di scarico in metallo, para spruzzi posteriori realistici e slitta sotto motore in metallo.
Il risultato finale è decisamente accattivante e rende il modello degno di stare a fianco dei marchi più blasonati.

A new Lancia Delta emerges from the body shop with a completely new look. In this case, I present to you this Mondomotors/Sunstar-based HF Integrale 8v version that won the 1989 Monte Carlo Rally with Miki Biasion at the wheel.
The model arrived with a partial makeover by the owner, who painted the interior and added some details to the front bumper grilles and the photo-etched fuel cap.
The model's transformation was completed with the Martini decal set missing from the original model, an interior update with the addition of Kevlar on the floor, battery cover, and seat backs, photo-etched fabric seatbelts, battery wiring, and fire extinguisher system, and metal pedals.
On the exterior, I added photo-etched hooks, a set of Speedline wheels produced by F-Design by Francesco Arena with front brake fans, a lowered suspension, a new metal exhaust pipe, realistic rear mud flaps, and a metal engine skid plate.
The final result is truly eye-catching and makes the model worthy of standing alongside the most prestigious brands.

Ciao amici, ecco a voi l'ultima creatura uscita dalla carrozzeria di F-Design.
Un transkit su base Altaya in scala 1/18 della bellissima Peugeot 307 WRC in livrea Expert che fu portata in gara al Rally Montecarlo 2006 da Henning Solberg.
Il kit comprende numeri e tabelle specifiche del rally e decals per gli pneumatici, in abbinamento a cerchi OZ e pneumatici di Llanta13Models. Infine ho abbassato l'assetto per adattare meglio il modello alle specifiche del rally, poiché originariamente nasce con assetto da terra. Una modifica di dettaglio che però esalta in modo eccezionale anche un modello semplice come questo, spero vi piaccia.

Hello friends, here's the latest creation from F-Design.
A 1/18 scale Altaya-based transkit of the beautiful Peugeot 307 WRC in Expert livery, which was driven in the 2006 Monte Carlo Rally by Henning Solberg.
The kit includes rally-specific numbers and plates and the tires logos, paired with OZ rims and Llanta13Models tires. Finally I lowered the ride height to better adapt the model to the rally specifications, since it was originally built with a gravel set-up.A simple modification that, however, exceptionally enhances even a simple model like this, I hope you like it.

Iniziamo il nuovo anno con una bellissima MG Metro 6R4, vettura che ha ancora un grandissimo seguito in UK, un po' come in Italia la Delta S4.
Basata su un modello Sunstar in scala 1/18, vi presento questa elegantissima livrea Autoplas su base rossa che ha animato il Challenge Metro 6R4 che si correva in UK negli anni 80.
Come al solito la verniciatura é stata fatta ad aerografo e dopo l'applicazione delle decals appositamente disegnate, ho provveduto alla verniciatura trasparente 2k di StreetBlisters.
Le ruote Compomotive sono state invece fornite dal fortunato proprietario che tra poco la potrà esporre nella sua collezione.

We're kicking off the new year with a beautiful MG Metro 6R4, a car that still enjoys a huge following in the UK, much like the Delta S4 does in Italy.
Based on a 1/18th scale Sunstar model, I present this elegant Autoplas livery on a red base that graced the Challenge Metro 6R4 race held in the UK in the 80s.
As usual, the paint job was airbrushed, and after applying the specially designed decals, I finished it with a 2K clear coat by StreetBlisters.
The Compomotive wheels were supplied by the lucky owner, who will soon be able to display it in his collection.

È passato un altro anno all'insegna del modellismo, che abbiamo trascorso insieme, come sempre cercando di dare sempre il massimo. Un anno caratterizzato da una scarsa produzione da parte mia (solo 9 progetti), anche a causa del trasloco che mi ha tenuto forzatamente fermo per quasi 3 mesi.
Il proposito per il nuovo anno è quello di cercare di recuperare il tempo perso, anche facendo affidamento sulla nuova attrezzatura che ho comprato nel corso dell'anno, con lo scopo di migliorare ancora la qualità e velocizzare la realizzazione di ogni progetto.
Dunque, il resoconto finale dice 9 progetti e quasi 120 kit di decals realizzati per soddisfare le vostre esigenze, in definitiva direi comunque non male!!!
Auguro con questo messaggio un felice anno nuovo a tutti voi e alle vostre famiglie, con la speranza che salute e felicità siano con voi, oltre a tanti modelli nuovi!!!😁😁😁

Another year of modeling has passed, which we spent together, as always trying to give our best. A year marked by low production on my part (only 9 projects), partly due to the move that forced me to stop working for almost 3 months.
My New Year's resolution is to try to make up for lost time, also relying on the new equipment I purchased during the year, with the aim of further improving the quality and speeding up the completion of each project.
So, the final report says 9 projects and almost 120 decal kits made to meet your needs, all in all, I'd say not bad anyway!!!

Ciao a tutti amici, in questa giornata di Natale vi regalo l'ultimo tassello del progetto che ho fatto con tema la Scuderia Grifone.
Si tratta della Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8v con cui Fabrizio Tabaton navigato da Luciano Tedeschini corsero al Rally 24h di Ypres del 1988, classificandosi al 4° posto assoluto.
I miglioramenti al modello di origine Mondomotors su base Sunstar sono innumerevoli: verniciatura interna color alluminio, pedaliera in metallo, cinture in stoffa con fotoincisioni, cablaggi e tubazioni interne, sedili, pavimenti e coperchio batteria con effetto kevlar, ruota di scorta Speedline scomponibile.
All'esterno verniciatura integrale della livrea, kit decals specifico F-Design by Francesco Arena, ganci fotoincisi, cerchi Speedline stampati in 3d, nuovo scarico, nuova antenna.
Nelle ultime foto ve la presento insieme al Ducato Maxi che l'accompagnava alle varie gare in quegli anni.

Hello everyone, on this Christmas day, I'm giving you the final piece of my Scuderia Grifone-themed project.
It's the Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8v that Fabrizio Tabaton, co-driven by Luciano Tedeschini, raced in the 1988 Ypres 24 Hour Rally, finishing 4th overall.
The improvements to the original Mondomotors Sunstar-based model are countless: aluminum-colored interior paintwork, metal pedals, photo-etched fabric seatbelts, internal wiring and piping, Kevlar-effect seats, floors, and battery cover, and a Speedline spare wheel.
On the exterior, the car features a full painted livery, a specific F-Design decal kit by Francesco Arena, photo-etched hooks, 3D-printed Speedline wheels, a new exhaust, and a new antenna.
In the last photos, I'm showing it to you alongside the Ducato Maxi that accompanied it to various races in those years.

Ciao amici ecco il secondo progetto portato avanti in queste settimane a tema Scuderia Grifone.
Si tratta del mitico Fiat Ducato Maxi utilizzato come assistenza sui vari campi di gara della seconda metà degli anni 80, realizzato su base Ottomobile come sempre in scala 1/18.
È stato un progetto non semplice poiché realizzato con una sola foto a disposizione e tanto studio degli sponsor dell'epoca, il cui risultato è nelle foto che seguono.
Un altro fantastico pezzo di storia del rallismo che si aggiunge alla mia collezione personale (una volta tanto), con livrea base nero/oro interamente verniciata ad aerografo, kit decals specifico F-Design by Francesco Arena, finitura finale con vernice trasparente 2k di StreetBlisters. Un grazie a Mauro D'Orazio per la stampa 3d della mascherina FIAT che ha sostituito l'originale logo Peugeot.

Hello friends, here's the second project I've been working on in recent weeks on the Scuderia Grifone theme.
It's the legendary Fiat Ducato Maxi used as an assistance vehicle on various racetracks in the late 1980s, built on an Ottomobile base, in 1/18 scale as always.
It wasn't an easy project, as it was done with just one reference photo and extensive research into the sponsors of the time, the result of which is shown in the photos below.
Another fantastic piece of rallying history added to my personal collection (for once), with a black and gold base livery entirely airbrushed, a specific F-Design decal kit by Francesco Arena, and a final finish with a 2K clear coat from StreetBlisters.
Thanks to Mauro D'Orazio for 3D printing the FIAT grille, which replaced the original Peugeot logo.

Chi mi conosce o mi segue da lungo tempo sa che la livrea nero e oro della scuderia del Grifone ha un posto speciale nel mio cuore e ogni volta che mi capita di dover realizzare un modello con questa livrea iconica succede sempre qualcosa di speciale!
Vi presento oggi il primo di un gruppo di 3 modelli Grifone a cui ho lavorato per diversi mesi e di cui vado decisamente fiero perché mai prima avevo raggiunto tali livelli qualità nella realizzazione della verniciatura.
Ecco dunque a voi questa bellissima Lancia Delta S4 in versione Sanremo 1986, realizzata su base Ottomobile e come sempre in scala 1/18.
Proprio la qualità del modello mi ha permesso di realizzare una copia particolarmente fedele, con la livrea realizzata in 2 stadi di verniciatura successivi, le decals di mia produzione ed il tocco finale rappresentato dall verniciatura trasparente 2K di StreetBlisters.
La bellezza del risultato finale forse non traspare in pieno dalle foto, fatte durante una giornata non particolarmente luminosa, ma vi assicuro che dal vivo è bellissima e non smetterei mai di osservarla...

Those who know me or have followed me for a long time know that the black and gold livery of the Grifone team holds a special place in my heart, and every time I get to create a model with this iconic livery, something special always happens!
Today I present to you the first of a group of three Grifone models I've been working on for several months and which I'm incredibly proud of because I've never before achieved such high levels of quality in the paint job.
Here is this beautiful Lancia Delta S4 in the 1986 Sanremo version, built on an Ottomobile base and, as always, in 1/18 scale.
The quality of the model allowed me to create a particularly faithful replica, with the livery created in two successive paint jobs, the decals I made, and the finishing touch of a 2K clear coat by StreetBlisters.
The beauty of the final result may not be fully evident in the photos, which were taken on a less than bright day, but I assure you that in person it's beautiful and I could never stop looking at it...

Non c'è cosa più bella di poter esporre un modellino con cui hai ottenuto un bel risultato in una gara, a bordo di un'auto iconica, con il supporto di una scuderia prestigiosa... È quello che potranno fare il bravissimo Christian ed il suo driver con queste belle Mitsubishi Lancer Evo7 N4 con cui hanno vinto la categoria al rally di Foligno del 2024.
Partendo da 2 basi WRC ho eliminato le prese aria sul tetto e le numerose antenne presenti sui modelli originali e poi ho riverniciato le scocche in bianco. Disegnate, stampate e applicate le grafiche, ho applicato il trasparente StreetBlisters 2k, sostituito i cerchi e le gomme con i bellissimi Evo Corse stampati da Llanta13Models e infine riverniciato il roll-bar nella particolare tinta celeste come nell'auto originale. Completano il lavoro le basette personalizzate con numerazione dedicata.
Non sono uno specialista della scala 1/43, ma mi ritengo sufficientemente soddisfatto del risultato finale... E voi che ne dite?

There's nothing better than being able to display a model with which you achieved a great result in a race, aboard an iconic car, with the support of a prestigious team... That's what the talented Christian and his driver will be able to do with these beautiful Mitsubishi Lancer Evo7 N4s, with which they won the category at the 2024 Foligno Rally.
Starting from two WRC bases, I removed the roof vents and the numerous antennas present on the original models and then repainted the bodies white. After designing, printing, and applying the graphics, I applied StreetBlisters 2K clear coat, replaced the rims and tires with the beautiful Evo Corse ones printed by Llanta13Models, and finally repainted the roll cage in the distinctive light blue shade of the original car. The work is completed with custom bases with dedicated numbering.
I'm not a 1/43 scale expert, but I'm quite satisfied with the final result... What do you think?
